    Hello all

    Im still here, fluttering along.

Ive finally found out why I am freaking exhausted all the time... And its not just doing too much :rotfl: The short story is, Ive had sinus problems for years and after two years waiting to see a specialist they have discovered that all the tubes in my head are basically closed/swollen/thickened, whatever you want to call it. They have given me tablets to supress my own immune system which should help the inflammation go down/relieve the pressure and pain :j:j:j

They should now hopefully stop trying to convince me I am just depressed :D

My days as the moment consist of caffiene and painkillers throughout the day to get through, then falling asleep on the sofa after tea! Waking up, putting DS to bed then going straight to bed!

Surface swishing and dishes are done, but admittedly havent done a whole lot more than a little bit of hoovering and laundry here and there!

Ill get there though. Babysteps and all that xx

mrs-moneypenny, that image made me laugh and well done on what you've done. How did you get on skintbreeder?
I managed to put a load of clothes away so you can see the bed in the spare room and tidied DD's floor.

Having 5 mins now and I'll get on with the list, the WM has nearly finished.......
  • glad you got a bit done toochoosey

done online banking, stripped DD2 and DD3 beds, changed WM &TD over
tested smoke alarm, de-cluttered hallway, put away DD2 clothes for her as she is not going to be here tonight, and I can't bear the mess.

chucked all the dirty laundry downstairs, took to utility and colour sorted it for later, took dirty plates downstairs, watered and turned tomato plant (5 orangey yellow tomatoes on it, so its working!)

had to hunt for a giant mouse that DS apparently saw....."big as you Mummy!", so I took my hoover and went on a giant mouse hunt in DD2 room and the hallway

got so far as printing off the dimensions for new sofa and steel tape measure is in my pocket, but mousehunt got in the way

Another cuppa, and will go and measure up - fancy another HH at 11?

    Good morning :D

Slow morning today :) I don't have work until 1.30, and will be finished by 4pm :j My children's school has a non-pupil day, so DD2 has just gone into town (armed with CV's!!) and DS is till in bed.
DH was supposed to have the day off, as we had an appointment at the bank at 10.30 (as he had to cancel last week). He 'popped' into work this morning early to 'get something sorted'. he is still there :( He has moved the appointment to 11.30, while he goes into meltdown at work (I think he is close to a breakdown :().

i was going to sort some paperwork, while catching up with Dallas - then DD1 phoned for a chat, so that went out of the window! On the plus side, she is now coming home for New Years :) (she was going to be at BF's for Christmas AND New Year!).

2nd load in WM, 1st in TD. That is about all I have done today, except sort out theironing pile & put some in DD's bedroom for her to put away (which she won't!!)
DH is good and tries but im my own worst enemy there if he hang clothes up wrong i swpa them to my way so they dont look so creased etc and are easier to iron which causes him to question why hes bothered helping,

I do exactly this!! :rotfl:I feel bad, and sometimes I try to walk away. DH does most of the ironing anyway, but I don't like it all creased. I have tried explaining WHY I do things in a certain way, giving good reasons, but he still does it 'wrong'!! I don't like to complain (or correct him) as at least he bothers :o

Skint breeder 5 - are you trying to compete with Pigpen for the least amount of sleep!? :p GET SOME SLEEP! Or at least put your feet up occasionally :) You need to look after yourself.
I like your new philosophy BTW - very inspiring. We waste too much time pleasing other people, and not ourselves, and focussing on the negatives.. My Ex used to constantly tell me what a rubbish Mum I was, and really undermine my confidence (well rid - 17 years ago :D)

Ok. I think I will pack up the books that need to be sent to Amazon in exchange for a gift card :) I found an old maths book that I had for an OU course about 6 years ago, checked amazon and they are giving me £26 for it!! And £8 for a book that they accidently sent me 2 of about a year ago, and never asked for it to be returned :D Result! :j

ETA SB5 - can you not use your steamer to clean the mould? (I think it was you that said you had one - if it wasn't just ignore me!! :))
  • showered demudded and dressed for work (non uniform today so can wear jeans)
hall stairs and landing all cleared of clutter
    upstairs and stairs hoovered
downstairs swept and hall and kitchen mopped
floordrobe on our bed ready to sort out this afternoon i found a £2 coin so i consider that my cleaning tip
settee throws and cushions tidied up

    think i deserve a coffee
