Tooch I feel your pain - it's a battle sometimes - you against whoever lives in your house. And the ungrateful (insert descriptive expeltive of choice) only EVER notice whta hasn't been done

Don't worry about ranting, and certainly don't apologise for it:D:D
housework was a constant war of contention with my ex- I would work all hours under the sun, kids would create a tornado before I got in from work and he would sit there and moan like stink...............he eventually moved in with mistress who had no job and no kids, who sat on her behind all day long until half hour before he came home, and all I ever heard when he came to see the kids was how "wonderful" she was and I was queen of !!!!ola by comparison :mad::mad:
When I joined here 4 weeks ago my mantra was his rule book never worked, so I am throwing it away along with all the negativity and criticism that went with it. Now, Housework is MY job, MY rules, MY achievements and MY successes, support and company from MY fellow flyladies and flygents is welcome......any negative comments now go in the bin with all the other junk I am decluttering, so it's MY job to ignore the moaning and get back to flying MY way, so in a weird way I am still successful when I am being moaned at :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: provided I "dump" it out of my head asap
If my kids are going to treat my house like a hotel, then they are GOING to treat it like the Ritz :eek::eek:.. eventually anyway, that's the plan....as long as I can get it up to a good standard before fly-baby gets here they will hopefully stop junking their mess everywhere....
Don't dwell on OH's negative comments, de-clutter that comment straight away....and on YOUR terms, YOU decide when you will make a start on the spare room, and that will be YOUR victory not his:j
HTHThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Morning flyladies and gents - fly-baby has been keeping me up since 1 - AGAIN:eek: she must be trying to get me ready for all the sleepless nights and marathon midnight feeding sessions!
So, I made a start on Thursday official flying list - if its gone, its done!
Thursday - Bathroom Deep clean
Level One
Level Two
Wipe the tiles - ensuite tiles only remain!
Level Three
Extras
MY extras
[STRIKE]WM x3 on cheap leccy
TD x 3 on cheap leccy
DW x 1 on cheap leccy
dragged rubbish, recycling and food compost outside
washed and disinfected all bins
put a plastic box in boot of car, with two glass jars ready to stick in bottle bank when the box is full
S&S kitchen & DR
hotspotted LR and hallway
Anthea Turner-ed my freshly washed towels and re-did the ones in the main bathroom, and re-did one stack in the airing cupboard[/STRIKE] :j
[STRIKE]Anthea Turner-ed some teatowels[/STRIKE] - think they need ironing to make them look something, but I am not martyring myself to teatowels this morning :rotfl:
Thanks again for your responses to my earlier post about mould. I made a start on the mouldy coving in the ensuite with bleach in a spray bottle... BIG improvement, but going to homeb@se tomorrow to get their mould and mildew product to see if that brings it up any better without me having to scrub too hard.....thought no point doing tiles twice in ensuite once stray dribbles start to run down tomorrow.
Once I have had breakfast I will start unpacking my @pproved food delivery and maybe do some meal planning! The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Good morning Skint Breeder.
Congratulations Embb.
Plan for today is to get up and make lunches. Get littlies to school. Come home and fly for 45 mins. Go to work. Come home and fly for 45 mins. Collect littlies and take them to swimming lessons. Tesc0 on way home for dinner tonight. Wash school uniform on Friday night.
I saw my oldest friend yesterday she's hugely pregnant. I'm insanely jealous! Very broody ATM. I hope this passes as that door is locked and bolted.0 -
Morning lovelies!
Thanks for the congrats everyone
Tooch Job vibes coming your way, and yes I know that feeling well x
Valli I'll try not to
Got 5 hrs work today but hoping to get some stuff done round here, it's not too bad but needs a spit and a polish and a tidy-up.
Listy:-
Tidy LR
TD
WM
empty DW
reload DW
wipe out fridge
hoover through downstairs
make beds
take stuff upstairs
sort tea
That should do it, but not feeling positive it will all get done hahaha x0 -
Morning all, didn't manage much yesterday due to feeling BD. DS3 had done so well with the sleeping until last night when he and the boys decided to play up so no bedtime until after 11 here.
So i shall try harder all round today and fingers crossed i'll get DS3 back to going to bed at 7pm.
Embb Well done on the new job.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0
