@ Mumto5
I suggest you refund the buyer as soon as you can; assuming they haven't been abusive/threatening .
E bay allow INR (item not received disputes) to be filed in a shorter timescale than the post office will accept a claim. You, unfortunately, will have to bear this loss. You need to claim against the PO for the lost item so save paperwork. For more information ask on the e bay thread; the only time one of mine went missing it turned up before I could put in a claim with the PO. You will need Proof of posting - so that might be a non-starter.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning ladies. I plan to fly this morning then head off to meet a friend for lunch.
eB@y question
I have had a 'not received item' case opened against me. I have twice responded to the buyer previous to this. Buyer says I have not contacted. I've lost the proof of postage. If I refund will I be reimbursed by eB@y or PayPal? Buyer has feedback of 5.
Respond to the case saying you posted on X date and the Royal Mail state it can take up to 21/35 days (or whatever it is) and when it arrives they can check the postage date so they know you are not lying and if it does not turn up in the specified time then you will happily refund... in the meantime .. find that POP and in future send everything recorded delivery.. it stops most of this.. I have had 1 item lost in 5 years sent recorded before that around 10% of parcels didn't turn up!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Jo - DS3 (I think is the same age as your DS) has put 3 of them on his Christmas list (and nothing else as he has had a bike this autumn as an early present) - can you give me tips on best ones? He wants one which fires disks, one which loads quickly and one which is long and accurate! I'll get one and get Grandad on the case and Nanny too.
I dont really know what are the best ones, as when DS starts talking about them I usually switch off....
I have got him one of these - which is a LONG one... but there is also this one which looks like a more fancy version
I saw some cool ones that I know DS would like that fire disks... this and this
I dont know about loading quickly though... *shrugs*Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Just been to the local town and dropped off bags of bits at the CS, wondered around with DH, browsed through the expensive CS's we have here and found a little 2nd hand book shop down a side street, bought Nigellas Express hardback book for £3, cue a very happy me:j:money::D:T I've been after it for ages, either nowhere had it or it was at a ridiculous price. Also noticed that upstairs they do all sorts of crafty workshops so I've just emailed them to see if they can teach me to crochet :rotfl: cos youtube and books can't!!!Projects made for craft fair - 40

Good afternoon
I didn't get on here yesterday as it was a busy day, and I lost a post on here this morning, so gave up & went out!
In my earlier (lost) post, I said that I had come across an advert for a steam mop. Does anyone have one of these? Are they any good? I don't have many hard floors, but it can apparently do carpets to & deoderize them (by killing bacteria, I suppose). It can also sanitize toys & stuff without chemicals. Just wondering if it is worth the money, or will it be another gadget that is too much faff to use & clean?
DW emptied this morning, and kitchen doesn't look too bad. The sun is out, and Miss T has brought her scooter today, so we might scoot along to the park with the dogWe have been to toddler group this morning so she will be shattered by the time I hand her back to her mum!
I will catch up later0
