*puts hand up* I have a confession I fold my T shirts how Anthea Turner showed you. Plus I also fold my towels and t-towels how was shown :D

I went and found that on utube, I am very unco-ordinated, I saw that pinching and pulling T-shirts and I just know I would end up spraining myself or dislocate something doing it :D:D:D

I did think about investing in one of those flip flap plastic folding gizmos that Sheldon Cooper has in Big Bang Theory, but I think I will have to drop some hints for that for DD1 and DD2 to scrape some pennies together :rotfl:

I had a look at Anthea's way of folding towels, mine is similar but in halves not thirds.....but I have a batch of towels to stuff WM with in the morning, so I will try Anthea's way and if I don't dislocate anything I may just re-fold the whole linen cupboard :rotfl:

    DW x 2[/STRIKE]

very chuffed with progress I have made, so apologies in advance, but if I have a down day I will come back and look at this post to remind myself what I achieved.

Background to froggy study - I have had two floods downstairs in the last 6 months from pipework in the adjacent downstairs loo.....half the parquet floor tiles came up in the study, the replacement sink unit, sink, loo and tiles are in there ready to be fitted once finishing bits done by my DIY helper.(they became frogs 6 months ago after the 1st flood)...all my Dad's legal paperwork for Probate is in there in crates off the floor (this is the REAL reason the room has really become froggy, finalising the last bits is too much closure), all my family tree research is in there in crates, all the kids baby pics and photo albums are in there in crates and bags ready to scan and upload so in the event of further floods or worse they won't be lost forever, then it became a hotspot of towering inferno proportions I couldn't even get in the room!

    Today I have:

removed cardboard boxes I have been saving for posting things out on ebay (when I get a round tuit) to shed:D
removed some of my Dad's sentimental possessions to go to the shed until I am ready to do something more permanent with them
made a computer sundries crate with printer paper, photo paper, laminating sheets, printer inks, envelopes - also chucked some spare wrapping paper in there aswell as that will get used shortly
put spare CD/DVD jewel cases on shelves ready to locate stray disks another day :D
retrieved my pinsentry thing-a-ma-bob so I can use my laptop for online banking so I can catch up on that aswell
found some overdue paperwork that I MUST get paid/sorted tomorrow
made a big stack of permanent filing for when I can get further in and put in the proper folders :eek::eek:
removed lots of empty envelopes for recycling
removed lots of un-needed A4 paper with one sided printing on it for DS to scribble on to living room pens/pencils/crayons cupboard :D
stray pens/pencils/staplers/protractors/rulers etc taken to living room
found and emptied a couple of stray handbags - DS spare un-used underwear and clothes in washing pile so small items can quickly go in the bag for the loft, loose change into the Roadkill pot, hairbrushes and makeup taken and hidden away safely in my room
moved Dad's probate paperwork to living room cupboards WITHOUT opening or looking at anything
Dejunking 3 pods ready for cleaning another day
stray washing from DD1,2 and 3 collected for washing pile - lots of odd socks in this lot so hopefully a matching session with the odd sock bag awaits!
removed DS bike and toy car from study so he can play with them again

I can now get in the study provided I breathe in and lift my fly-baby bump over the offending DIY stuff - in a weird way looking forward to reclaiming the room back to a point where I can hang a door back on it and shut it off properly before converting it into a downstairs bedroom for DD2 - as I am going to struggle having both DS and fly-baby in my room.

Time for one last cuppa, a quick lurk and nose at tomorrow's list then it is bed-time for me

hugs for all (gentle hugs for Lamewolf)
The cold never bothered me anyway

  • oh dear, there are some frogs on tomorrow's list I don't like the look of -

got hospital for fly-baby tomorrow AM for several hours when DS is at nursery, best stop off at @sd@ on the way home and get some more heavy duty gloves and some mould and mildew cleaner for my ensuite coving (it's getting more and more noticeable now everything else is getting cleaner and cleaner :o)

are there any fail-safe ways of getting mould and mildew off without too much elbow grease/ expense? fly-baby is making my bump HUGE :eek::eek::eek:, so I know my balance is a bit off standing on a chair and if I start thrashing about too vigorously I don't want to do myself a mischief

See you all again at a more sensible hour :)

  • Morning all, didn't get much of my own list done yesterday because i went to put something in DD's bedroom and decided to give it a good tidy. Even went and got her a lock for the outside of her door (to stop the boys getting in). :D

Not sure whats for today, think it will be a slow go day.

    Morning all

OMG am I up against it time wise today.

Skinty - don't do anything to put either of you at risk. I find HG mould spray excellent - homebase sell it £6-7ish

Morning ladies. I plan to fly this morning then head off to meet a friend for lunch.

    eB@y question

I have had a 'not received item' case opened against me. I have twice responded to the buyer previous to this. Buyer says I have not contacted. I've lost the proof of postage. If I refund will I be reimbursed by eB@y or PayPal? Buyer has feedback of 5.
