Morning all
Keep your chin up, Toochoosey! You will succeed in your own time and on your own terms: in fact, you are already making good progress if your family can tell the difference between what's been done and what hasn't been done.
Skint breeder - I love your idea of living in the Ritz!
Bossymoo - that tiger sounds GRRRRRRRREAT!!!
I have gradually been crossing things off the lists during the week, (including clearing all the ironing backlog :j ) but have spent more time during the past couple of days tied to the computer rather than flying. However, yesterday evening I managed to complete a piece of written work that had been going round and round in my head for a week, for which the deadline was next Thursday, so I am feeling very pleased with myself. Plenty more where that came from, though!
It was going to be a quiet day today, but yesterday afternoon DH and I went to have our flu jabs, and whilst at the surgery each managed to book a Dr's appointment for non-urgent matters far sooner than we expected, so now today's schedule looks like this:
- DH has gone to work and has an interview for a new job at 10.00
- I need to shower and wash hair, then S&S kitchen and bathroom
- I need to leave here at 9.20 to get to the Dr's for 9.45
- Post eB@y parcel, buy some bits
- DH coming home for lunch
- DH to drop me off at hospital for breast imaging while he goes to Dr at 3.00, then pick me up again
- Maybe just time to do a bit of clearing up in the garden before it gets dark?
- No ironing tonight
Right, off I go!
(((Hugs))) to all who need them (gentle ones to LW - was it yesterday you had to see the rheumatologist?)
Happy Friday flying, everyone0 -
morning fly ladies, hope all are well. hugs if you need them
not so cold or damp out today so wm already on, yesterdays dry washing in and folded, nothing to iron so its all going straight upstairs. decluttered one off to school other is a work in progress.
pleased with yesterdays blitz on the bathroom, it was a deep clean i even took a toothbrush to the toilet bowl rim:eek:i didnt realise it was that bad:o loo looked clean but i know it is now:T
all thats left in the bathroom is refolding all te towels on the shelves, finish going through toiletry boxes and wash shower curtain. cant quite work out why there are 5 in the house and 11 toothbrushes in the pot so tonight im asking who uses what (please god let them all say different ones;)) and the rest are going in the cleaning box. its just tough if someone asks for the lime and purple one now as after what that got used for yesterday its gone in the bin:rotfl:

Morning, morning all.....got back in bed at 6am, had DD2 hammering on my door at 7 complaining that her white spotty bra was missing.....
I told her it was in the main bathroom WASHING basket last night, so it went into the WM in the small hours, so it was clean and just needed drying......I kept the door locked, stayed in bed and listened to her stomp round the house like an elephant moaning until I heard the back door go to the utility-

Right time for a cuppa - anyone fancy joining for HH catch up at 9.30?The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
toochoosey i know how you feel, ive made it too easy for my kids and its had to break habits of a lifetime, DS1s idea of tiying is stuff it all in the wardobe. ds2 is totally oblivious to it but hes got a very smal room and too much stuff so it goes to pot quickly, i trun a blind eye till i cant stand it any more then go and do it myself. which kind of sets the pattern.
DH is good and tries but im my own worst enemy there if he hang clothes up wrong i swpa them to my way so they dont look so creased etc and are easier to iron which causes him to question why hes bothered helping,
decluttered last one out now so have made a good start, kitchen S&Sed, all pots washed that were left from last night, mice clean out. rubbish and recycling all collected so will make a start on next weeks. DH always puts that up to the top of the drive, i even heard him drive back to do it this morning as hed forgotten it was friday till he gt to the end of the road and realised other peoples was out.
anyone for a HHC at 9.30 ?SPC~12 ot 124
