Does anyone know if this will affect my House Benefit? Will this stop because of the sanction?

It will stop ur housing benefit for 2 weeks

It won't. But the claim may be suspended if HB are notified that JSA has been suspended/sanctioned. All HB would need then is a "nil income" statement for those payments to continue unbroken.

Technically It will, the op would have recieved a disallowance( to benefits) which stops housing benefit also as soon as the decision is put onto our system we inform housing benefit.

I saw being on JSA as like a job, you have a time you have to show up for (which you would have for a job) the appointment, your workload (again you would have in a job) and a finish time where you stop searching for jobs and do something else to take your mind off the whole job search.

You have seen nothing yet..This is just the entr!e.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

If I forgot to turn up for work I wouldn't get paid.........so why should you not be sanctioned for forgetting to sign on. What was so distracting that you forgot ?
    Would you lose a month's pay ?

No, but you might lose your job - so far more than a month's pay.

If you 'forget'to go to work you get the sack and have no money. Why should you not be sanctioned for forgetting to sign on?
    Sanctioned for a month ?

Maybe they have other problems ?

Do you think it's right to sanction people in difficulty, who make a single mistake.

Do you think it really helps, or will push them down ?

Are people that stupid to think that harsh sanctions are what's needed in a depression/recession ?

Are people that stupid to forget to sign on once every two weeks?

And the other points, or is that a bit too complicated for you ? ;)
