This is quite usual, I believe. There's something to do with the radiator nearest to the hot water tank being used as some sort of overflow for the heat from the tank. I've been told that it's some sort of safety system.
I'm sure this isn't the exact explanation, someone who understands this more will be able to help, I'm sure

taplady I told you she was a jammy so-and-so. I managed to get my dad on the phone so she has won some money as she placed an each-way bet. I'm useless at working those out but I reckon she has won around £4. :rotfl: At least my horse (went for Longshanks in the end) and DS's finished so can't complain - well, we can but it wouldn't get us our money back. :rotfl:
mrs mix sounds as though you are having a terrible time at the moment. Hope you feel better soon. (((hugs)))
Lasagne was fantastic (best yet, DS says). Using the rest of the mince tomorrow for chilli. Haven't had chilli in ages. Yum yum.
Off to watch Hoodwinked with DS and DD. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Oh mrs mix, I was hoping you'd be better, I wonder if these bugs travel via internet too, welcome to my world at the mo, I managed to squeak a 'hi' when my DP called 'He said I know you can't talk but thought I would call to see if you are ok' managed to squeak a 'yer' back :rotfl: short conversation from me. DS1 thankfully read the note of 'BEDTIME' to his brother for me. Luckily DS1 uses PECS a lot so have used them a lot. I had to knock on the door to get them in from garden for dinner tho. Oh what fun. Food another thing just not wanting but have had my fave jacket spud meal 2 nights in a row as a comfort food, plus some icecream tonight helped a liitle of course
. I got antibiotics but had to see nurse pratitioner as no GP available, actualy she was lovely, but they are yet to kick in, DP was shattered when he went to work as I am keeping both of us up with my cough
All these winnings confusing me, I wouldn't have the first clue what to do. I've walked into a betting shop once and that was just to collect money for my Grandad.
Annie you should have said with the chilli, I made an SC full few weeks ago (6.5l one) was my first ever attempt and we're getting a bit sick of it now
:rotfl: 2 boxes left to use but after that I might not make one for a while. Downside of having a little freezer, one bulk cook and it's full so that's what we have to eat for ages until it's gone :rotfl: One day I might be more organised...........

Good Evening All OS.
well i had a partly good partly bad day today i went to town to get LO some new shoes and 3 hours after going to every shop i could think of that done kids shoes and going to freeport and looking there i finaly found some in clarks i didn't want to get them from there as thought they would be a bit pricey but i got a really nice pair of denim plimsole type trainers for £10 and as it was the last shop and he needs them before playschool next week i did't think that was to bad (his last ones only cost me £5).
I am also very proud of myself because i went in to tesco and sainsburys and didn't buy anything dont think i have ever done that so THANK YOU OS. and i got a letter to from my salon i get my hair done at today saying i have won a free cut and finish which is fantastick and couldn't of come at a better time as am going out next sat night and wanted to book myself in this week anyway so it has saved me £30. :j
and finaly essex girl where do you live as you said you were going to walk along the sea wall? if you dont want to post it you can PM me.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Hi Mrs Mix - hope you're feeling better - things sound awful for you! (((hugs)))
Masters Pink and Kyle - Happy Birthday to you both.
Hope everyone has had a good day - weather here was beautiful, warm, sunny and cheerful. Had a good day charity shopping once I'd done the Co-op and packed it all away. This OS has certainly cut down on the packaging these days. I hardly throw anything away now which is something I'm really happy about. Even OH has commented! Had fish and chips in town - a treat - which was delicious. Managed to pick up a brand new landline phone to replace the crackly one in the bedroom - only £1.00 complete with instruction book! Another Anne Tyler novel - she's my favourite author at the moment and I've now got four books waiting to be read after the one I've almost finished now. Bought GDG a fairytale book and a lovely pink girlie sequinned bag, a brand new rugby-type shirt for OH, a book about home remedies from around the world - fascinating! Will pass on any tips(!),a skirt and two tops for me, a burner-thingy for my aromatherapy oils to make the house smell gorgeous and a lovely little blue country-kitchen teapot. I spent under £10.00 all-in! Came home and sat in the garden just talking with OH which was lovely, had eggs on toast for tea, have just had a bath and gong to spend the rest of the evening chilling with a bottle of wine.
Happy Saturday evening to all and sleep well!
Catch up with you tomorrow.  :beer:KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
