When you think of rationing your heating/finding extra money for various "new" ideas like the bedroom tax and looking for YS bargains in the SM...just remember this story that appeared in the Telegraph of all papers earlier today...

Got to do some more creative work today as another friend has asked me to do her wedding invites, a Chinese theme :) I really should start charging for this, lol. But I've done her a cherry blossom design that I'm quite happy with :)

Tomorrow is the big day, were going away for 2 nights without LO! I'm actually quite nervous! Lol. But I am looking forward to getting back on my skis (going to an indoor snow dome) as have my first Assesment this week so I can re qualify. It's my first time on skis for 6 months so could be fun! Lol.

Aww peanut thats fab and truly O/S. Your LO is blessed with a lovely Mum who realises its not about money its about time and love. Have a great break, though Im sure you will be ringing every 10 minutes to see how he is, secrets out though because we all did it the first time.

Had an upsetting day as brother apparently picked Mum up from the hospital and didnt bother to tell me and I sat here for 6 hours waiting for her to ring me. Anyway she is safe at his house for the night and is going back to her flat tomorrow as she really cannot stand another day with my SIL. She will be fine at home as its a warden controlled block with excellent staff and she only has to pull an emergency cord for help. She is doing really well and now just wants her own space. Dd is all moved in her new house and has cleaned the old one from top to bottom to make sure she gets her deposit back. DGS loves his new house especially his bedroom and the fact he can reach the fruit bowl in the kitchen :rotfl:

Jem Im dreading lugging the 3 big bags of pea gravel through the house to put on my back garden path and am putting off the job. So I commiserate in advance with you as thats just how I will be when Im done. We just need a bit of warmth now to get everything started dont we?

Gawd ginny I've got the same problem but with topsoil, trying to get it from the back - ex chicken run - through to the roses in the front. That's why I'm up at this godawful time, because I woke up wondering how to do it!
