Morning thanks for the wishes. The best laid plans of mice and men and all that. Ended up washing dog bedding, carpets, throws and hallway flooring as dog unwell. Parentals not arrived so now not going out for lunch.
DH also broke tooth so he's off to dentists ......

I have my appointment with the vampires to donate next week, think OH is due to go too - he's very popular there being Oneg!
Just a quick pop in as go Bro SIL and the nieces coming for lunch and afternoon - they live all the way down somewhere in the vicinity of Monnagran and not seen them since our wedding in November so looking forward to a good catch up.
Hugs where needed or wanted - take care all. X0 -
I'm O neg but can't give blood. DD1 is O positive (had to have the needle in the bum after she was born) but DD2 is O neg (something to do with recessive genes) and she has been giving blood since she turned 17. She has started dragging friends with her as well, including one with a needle phobia . DD2 was settled into her chair so couldn't move when this friend suddenly ran out of the door looking wild. OMG she thought, I can't go after her,but it turned out they weren't sure she(the friend) weighed enough so she had to rush off to Boots to weigh herself. All was well in the end but poor girl to have that to go through when she had already had to psych herself up to do it. But now she has done it once, she's fine and will do it again. It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

My OH is another O-, but can't go because all donating times clash directly with his shifts. So rubbish! I have to have the last appointment of the shift too, just wish they did one locally on a Saturday. As it is, planning to take OH the 1hr30 round trip to the local NHSBT centre to do his, as they do the occasional weekend.0

Afternoon All,
Said elesewhere on MSE dull, cold and wet weather outside...I'm bored and its miserable, so suspect I am going to have to give in and just walk around the supermarket again...
I slept not as good as usually, seemed to wake up every half hour/hour and have vague memories of strange dreams...all forgotten now...
Hopefully things will improve as the day goes on, I'll be occupied in some way and make the effort to try and have a nice meal not sure what at present."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

If it helps I had a strange dream:
About 2 llamas - one was ginger andcalledWally, the other was black and whiteand called Marmalade - bizarre, andthe person with me kept saying the other llama should be called 'Toast'. Weird. As I don't own llamas or a farm...
Work that one out.

Oh, also I've changed name. Pretty easy to follow who I am still, but my internet name (which I used to be under) has recently been linked to my offline life at work, so I needed to separate myself a bit. Weird, I've never been anything but my old name online, very different for me to have to worry about that sort of thing!
I've just seen snowflakes outside btw, just a few, but it's not supposed to be like this in Aprilhate having to have the lights on in the afternoon, and am sat in full clothes (inc jacket) and dressing gown and blanket. Yuck.

:(Wish I could still give blood, got to 30 donation's then the family animia curse kicked in, I so wanted to match my uncle at the 50 mark.£71.93/ £180.000 -
That's me Jellybox...always in lots of clothes often associated with outdoors(thermals, gloves, hats, scarves and yes something not worn until recently...a dressing gown)
I wish I could remember and should have written my dream down I promised that I would remember when I kept waking up but its no good. Only remember my thermals featuring at some point and possibly Mum and Dad.
Had the reminder for the TV license have to pay by April 30th. Trying to debate if I should renew one more time or save the cash and just watch what I am able on catch up via the net. Its not as if I watch lots of TV but I do use BBC Radio a lot. Though that is paid for from the license it is not affected by not having one...
Possibly entitled to some extra cash from the Warmfront scheme, never had it before and likely not to be entitled again as my circumstances change but if its offered I'll not say no...
It could help towards next winters bills. Might cover approx 2months use and if they give me what they promised a refund of £100 because I am online with a duel fuel deal that might help towards another couple of months use.
Of course as they increase prices the help reduces...
Also I think I may go down the water meter route I use very little and it might reduce my annual water bill by £200 approx it all helps..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
