    Thanks 2T,
I felt silly phoning about it but was told that I had done the right thing...the operator said he had them as a child and they usually get better on their own but I should still go about it...he mentioned the gold ring(Old Wives Tale)

    So we'll see...

Bobbi Brown Kate I just wish my skin was good enough to go without. Too many dumplings I reckon!

I am getting whiskers growing out of my chin  I can deal with anything to do with getting older but I am struggling with this aspect :(

I can watch red squirrels all day long. :D

Don't know BB stuff...but Clinique is about a tenner cheaper, I just checked, and the skin colour matches are great. I don't think I've tried Aldi foundation, but all the other stuff is great, I've used the concealer, and also the mascara, and the lip glosses. Got to be worth a go!

I have some good news, I have a job interview this friday. All positive vibes very welcome :o. I need a job and soon. This one sounds really good. Its only 3 months work and I would need to set up my own ltd company to get paid (the joys of IT work) but it would be money. Pennies are very tight at the moment.

OH has seen my shopping list/meal planner/freezer contents spreadsheet and far from laughing he actually thought it was a really good idea. Means I can see at a glance what the meal options are as OH is bad for saying 'I don't fancy that' etc. The amount I waste has gone down too.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

maryb have you tried making the ginger cordial from the recipe you posted the other day? I tried it this afternoon and will be trying it again. Next time I will add more ginger and less lemon and sugar.

OH has been diagnosed as having high blood pressure (has started on meds) and a slightly raised cholesterol. I have made a couple of tea loaves today for him to have in place of the crisps and nuts he likes to snack on. He almost cried when I would not let him have any of the crackling off the roast pork we had for tea tonight. I also took some of the frozen fruit we foraged during the summer out of the freezer and made 6 crumbles for the freezer and a gooseberry one for tea tonight.
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.
