There have been several rather questionable posts on here over the last day or so and it all makes for a very uncomfortable reading and unpleasant atmosphere.
I'm not going to apologise for my post - I find said poster offensive in his attitude of making himself suffer as a game, whilst having fridge and freezer stuffed full and a spare room of stores, to "play" at freezing himself for sympathy?
I have tried ignoring said posts but with a prolific poster who is much quoted it is very difficult.
However, am happy of course to bide by the majority rule, and will say goodbye and thankyou for the support I have had here.
Keep safe everyone as tougher times continue,

GQ its the ME that makes you try these diets because you'll do anything to lose this bloody exhaustion. On Wed I ate a tin of tiny Love Hearts the RV got me for the anniversary -wee bag of sweeties around 3" x 2". Yesterday I rolled out of bed and felt like I'd been hit by a train. Or had a really bad hangover. Crawled around all morning and slept all afternoon - now that had to be something in the sweeties, because it's gone today. So many chemicals and additives and gawd knows wot in food we eat !0

I didn't get the "white rabbits" thing either
Happy Birthday Rosie :bdaycake:
Only one more month until March :j
THanks everyone for the advice. I have agreed to go to Aquacise with her from next week. My line has always been about health and I'm proud of her body confidence - many smaller, slimmer girls should take note - she is a beautiful girl (I would say that wouldn't I?), she looks rather like the singer, Adele, but is slimmer than her. I will take your comments on board - I knew you'd be great
Right I've an hour and a half to tidy and hoover the place before my hair appointment, then collect MIL from the train, take her out to lunch, then do the shopping with my £5 off at Aldi voucher, thanks to whoever gave the heads up for that.
S'laters.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
RosiePuddingPaws:- I have been trying to work out my gas bill this morning. The Electric one is easy you just take one number from another. The Gas I have had to x 2.83 then x1.022640 then x40.0 then divide by 3.6. All of which is too complicated and still tells me what I already knew...We have used a lot of Gas.:(
:dance:Happy Birthday!
Dippypud:- My mam always says 'White Rabbits' three times. When we were at school we said 'A nip and a punch for the first of the month'.
Mardatha:- I think they put chalk in bread as well.
VJsmum:- Your daughter sounds lovely, probably gets it from her Mum.:)Give us the strength to encounter that which is to come, that we may be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temparate in wrath, and in all changes of fortune, and down to the gates of death, loyal and loving to one another.”0 -
Just read that.:(
Who is left for them to attack? I watched an interview on the news last night where a disabled woman was crying on air with the worry of the cuts to come in April! Surely this is not the actions of a caring society. People are being carelessly stepped on and ground into dust.
There is a saying about muggers attacking you and then coming back to take your eyes!:mad:Give us the strength to encounter that which is to come, that we may be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temparate in wrath, and in all changes of fortune, and down to the gates of death, loyal and loving to one another.”0 -
I have to say i'm not removing my comments as i feel what i have written needed to be said. I don't regret it any way or shape or form, some things have to be aired, especially when you give someone advice. On my side especially becoming personally / emotionally involved with the person.
Don't think wcs should leave either as she was just voicing point of views about things as well. But if you wish for me leave then i will quite happily.
Pops my opinion of you has dropped, regretfully. I am not the kind of person who is deliberately nasty. My partner says i should be more judgemental in general, but i can't be.
Thank you for removing the quote meme.
VJ - you never know this aquacise might be good! Seen a group of people doing it in the baths, looked fun
gorgeous pick dippy!
rosie :bdaycake:, now you've said fish and chips, you have to get some!! Have a lovely day
rat hairs in chocolate!!!
sounds like a nasty headache mar0 -
Its suppose to be good luck to say "white rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits, at the first of each new month for good luck for the whole of the month, I do believe, thats a very old saying, which I do say if I remember to, but it must be the first words you utter on the morning of the new month....sheila0 -
Fuddle:- I have removed the Quote of your post as you requested. I have left my comment about it.
Thank you. It was a comment fit for the bin and would have caused an argument. I went too far and realised it very quickly.
I too would like to know what nasties are in shop bought bakery items. Are we talking preservatives?0 -
