Fuddle, lovey - try not to worry too much - these things have a habit of coming out in the wash and all you've posted indicates he hasn't a leg to stand on. And as for the book - I've lost count of the number of books I have with curly edges! They dry out even and you can stick them under a pile of big books and squish the worst of the wrinkles out.

Happy New Year everyone - wishing you all the best for the upcoming year and may we all have a few less trials and tribulations in 2013. Big hugs and love - Helen X
  • My ex MIL dropped a copy of Maureen Lipman's biography that I'd loaned her, in the bath. She was too terrified to tell me & spent weeks trying to get anther copy but couldn't.
When she eventually owned up all I said was 'I've got loads of crinkly books, I'm always dropping them in the bath'

Seems this year still wants to cause disruption right upto the last minute. But I will wish you all A Happy New Year and pray we will be looked after in 2013.

Never plan ahead as I did...one of my legs has pained all day and been uncomfortable, I have slept most of the day away and had a headache(unusual for me)so have tried to be sure I have not been dehydrated.

May have some soup and toast later...keeping it simple...I don't really like New Years Eve. I will be in bed for sure...

Feel a bit strange about it and aprehensive but yet not exactly "Down" and reasonably calm. Calm before the storm no doubt...

    Take care everyone

Grrr, blooming fireworks, right in my ear! Well it feels like it. Am never comfortable on nights when lots of fireworks are let off, as our friends' house almost burnt to the ground and they never found the reason but fire investigators suspected it must have been a stray firework.
In case any of you are doing as I will do and sneaking off to bed early, please let me say it has been my absolute honour getting to know you all in 2012 and I hope the next year will be good for us all. Happy new year!

Take care of yourself, if you still feel unwell it may be prudent to have a word with the practice nurse for a check up and general MOT. Have a nice if quiet New Year.

I think 2012 has been hard on all of us. Here's to a better 2013 for all of us! Hugs to those who need it.

I paid my cc's today and had a moment where I didn't think I had enough in my account but had made a mistake. Being shorter than I should've on wages hasn't helped but I'll get there. My Gran bless gave me £10 towards petrol. OH also owes me £15.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

    Happy new year everybody!

Congrats on starting couch to 5k Fuddle, I started this morning. My knees are fine but my lungs have left the building. I know I was jogging too fast 7WW, but couldn't make myself slower without tripping over my own feet! I think I'm on a different plan than you Fuddle: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

I'm optimistic with 2013, it'll be better for all of us, we'll have to make sure it is.
