Smiley - well done on the job ' dahhhling!' sounds great and hope you really enjoy it.
Kidcat - great news, may only be one battle in the war but it's a good one to have won! And excellent news on the neuro front - it's so fantastic when professionals recognise something that they can do to try to ease either your or kids worries and actually get on and do it!0 -

Ouch my poor little brain is struggling: I'm trying to cross my fingers, cheer and applaud all at the same time! Lots of good and encouraging news today - which is lovely. And,as if that wasn't enough, I'm on my final half hour count down before finishing up for the holidays:D
Tonight I have a pressing engagement with a glass of red wine and the Great British Bake-off Christmas special and then tomorrow the housework begins:o
Have a good evening everyone0 -

Kidcat i am so pleased for you and your son. Having the diagnosis officially will hopefully make life a little easier in the long term for you all.
Smily congrats on the job!
Unix - good luck with your interview.
Lots of colouring in of christmas pictures done today. I asked my youngest what she wanted for christmas while she was colouring. I havnt asked her before and really wanted to know if i had made any mistakes but she said she wanted a dolls house. I had already wrapped up the wooden dolls house that belonged to my 15yr old and bought new furntiture so i am really happy that she will be happy:).
I also made a double batch of spiced biscuit mix....should only make around 100 biscuits. I hope they freeze ok or i will be feeding the children spiced biscuits for breakfast, lunch dinner and tea for the next week. I suppose that would make christmas dinner easy though:rotfl:0 -
Smiley - well done
Kidcat - i hope that means your DS will get what he needs
Unix - good luck

Kidcat great news on DS, bless him for being so pleased.
Smiley great news on the job - sounds really interesting too.
Unix great news on the interview, all fingers and toes crossed for you. Whatever happens be very proud and confident that you got an interview so quickly and they are keen to interview you.
More hamper goodies done here, and I didn't realise bake-off was on, so that's tonight sorted!
And I forgot to congratulate Mr VP too, well done Mr VP!0 -
:j Ohmigosh, I wander off for a few hours and good things break out left, right and centre!
Unix, I personally think it've very positive that they want you to interview this side of Xmas, so best of luck with that.
Mrs VP, congratulations on Mr VP's new job.
Kidkat oh, well done for finally getting your son's diagnosis confirmed and here's hoping this will be a turning point for his education, and the neuro stuff sounds promising, too.
smileyt, well done that woman. Just think of the relief in not having to sign on in the summer. You'll be able to style yourself as the possessor of a portfolio career now, and when I used to hang out in galleries you could sometimes get free wine and nibbles at the openings of exhibitions. It's all good.
(((((((big hugs))))))))to anyone I've forgotten to mention in dispatches as am still full of the cold as went backwards when started back at work on Monday, proof-positive that working is bad for your health.Never mind, it'll soon be Christmas and then we shall have some nuts.
