Have had a disaster with fudge, I can never get it to work so why do I insist in trying, was supposed to be for teachers presents but it just hasnt set! Grr!
  • Kidcat, could you scrape the fudge into some nice jars and claim that it is "fudge sauce" for ice cream and stuff? Just a thought.

But haven't you heard? Scones and fudge when eaten under conditions of extreme stress have absolutely no calories:rotfl:

And my fingers are still crossed that you get some good news soon.

No calories you say??? Hmmm Lol :rotfl:I have steam coming off my fingers typing on my keyboard from the amount of jobs I've registered my interest for.

OH is annoying me. He said 'well I guess we won't be having a child if you can't get a permanent job'? :(. Replied 'why not? A job is better than no job and after all its what I want'. Talk about making me feel bad.

Oh unix thats awful, if you really want a child I am sure you will find a way. But odds are that you will find a job, you are already searching and are highly committed which some people are not.

Thanks Kidcat. Just fed up. He's moaning about christmas and how he's so skint. All his bills are paid and I've bought stuff for SIL (his sis), BIL, nieces and nephews (his). Its not big presents (about £10 each, all mini hampers). He's bought my Mum a jumpers so only has to buy a little something for my Dad and Gran. He says he wants to buy me a little surprise and SS wants a tv (to me considering he's 21 and knows how tight money is he's being selfish). Told him to buy SS the tv in the sales as I've bought SS stuff to open on xmas day. So why can't he put the little things for Dad, Gran and me on his credit card and pay it with the pay he gets the week after xmas? Its not expensive things (i.e. jumper for Dad). He's asleep again on the sofa and I'm watching corrie.

It sounds as though you are going to need to sit and talk calmly about finances and how you will operate on just one wage. It may be that he is in shock like you and is lashing out at the person closest which is common.

We have been to a Christmas party for the kids in a playbarn today and last time we went there (August) it was awful. I was apprehensive about going but I decided to risk it, I am so glad we did as it went so well it was amazing.
Am so proud of DS8 who really coped well and behaved so well, even getting ready to leave just as he was asked. All the strategies I have been learning all came together and even our friends little boy who is the same age but new to the spectrum coped brilliantly with us using the same strategies on him.

We actually can't operate on one wage due to my debt, and we have spoken about it. I am thankful I have my tarot (which I have only taken up again recently) and some money that I was paid out (pension fund they wouldn't carry on) when I was made redundant before. Its not a lot but will last maybe a month (that includes his wage) to pay everything. He's not well paid but he can be reckless. i.e. 'I want a takeaway' and he'll put it on his cc, now he can't do that at all. He has admitted he wants SS out but has already chosen to cut off his daughter (long story) and thinks if he's pushes his son (my SS) to go then he'll lose him too. I've told him thats nonsense. Just fed up him sleeping all the time and choosing to finish earlier than he does normally meaning less wages!

Done some more job research tonight and some clicks.
