Sorry to hear about your accident Heavenleigh, but be assured that you had a common and understandable injury, you're not clumsy. On the other hand, yesterday, I grazed my bum on the tap in the shower/bath and have a bloody toe thanks to dropping a roll of wrapping paper.... those injuries (and countless more I've had) are downright stupid :o.

I'm staying out of any discussions of peoples comings, goings or whatnot, I come here to release stress I can't cope with in the real world, so I'm avoiding it here. It isn't that I don't care, I do care for you all greatly, but I just can't deal with more right now.

The pie sounds tasty GQ, but I think I'll let you keep what my nan used to call the "flies graveyard". Though thinking back, maybe she called it that to be assured she could eat it herself.

I put up my tree yesterday (all in one piece thanks to some crafty wiring). But am still feeling as festive as a beach ball. I guess it's just not happening for me this year.

The forecast for today is 38 degrees centigrade, over 100 Fahrenheit. The only way we get a white Christmas is covering everything in sunscreen.

    Love to all!

Thanks to those who told me to chase up the Tesco vouchers...Firstly the £5.50 one's are still valid until 2014 but they are reprinting the remaining vouchers worth approx £23 and sending them at the end of January plus they found another I had not been sent so I will have nearly £30's worth coming by then. Plus should I spend any more between now and then there could be even more.

I would have just let them go.

I shouldn't but I went back to buying lottery and Euromillion Tickets(just on the off chance)but luckily I keep winning just enough with lucky dips to pay for some of the tickets for a few weeks so sometimes it is like playing for free. Of course I'd like to win a really good amount but if it is a couple of quid here and there, that's also ok.

I won £10 on Saturday and almost threw the ticket away(thinking I hadn't)so that has almost paid for four EuroMillion tickets and two lottery tickets around two week's worth.

    ((Hugs)) to everyone,

Kidcat that was me about two months ago with appoinments absolute nightmare. Keep your chin up love!

Well i go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose. Lynn and Fuddle dont stop posting as honestly i'm going mad and coming on here cheers me up.

I stress going on in my life and hardly anyone ( no one) i can share it with so i have to deal with on my own.

For the first time in 18 years i admitted to my sister that i've started taking anti-depressants. I've been on and off them since i was 12yrs old, but never told anyone. She only knows about the current batch but she is very shocked. I also told her panic attacks, feeling tight chested when i think about going out. I got promptly told off and said i speak and visit her more often and not be on my own especially when the kids are at school. She's two years younger than and a pain in the backside but at least i now know i can talk to her about some things.

Wow that actually feels a bit like a relief saying it out loud, is that daft?

    oops i've hijacked the thread:o

My shopping and os life has gone out the window haven't been able to walk for the past five days without assiatnce, today my OH had to virtually carry me into the front room. I'm complete agony, my knees / legs don't want to work. So i've got a shop coming with te$co tomorrow with plenty of food we can just bung in the oven.

Does anyone know how to make a wheat bag? Could i also use barley instead of wheat for filling?

Seriously there are so many links that explain how to do this and yes I think that you can use other items inside...

Kezlou - well done for speaking up to your sister :)

I think Mrs VP made wheat bags last week but I may be totally wrong:)

I used the halogen tonight to heat up a meal that normally I would use the oven for, it was a little quicker but I figure I will have saved loads of electricity - at least I hope so.
