I don't go onto other threads, so another one who would like the weather posts here please 2Ts!
We have got jacket spuds and cold meat for dinner this evening, and I never wrap them (or oil them). I just prod 12 times with a pointy knife (has to be 12 prods exactly :rotfl:) and bung them in. I like to do lots of little ones as they cook quicker and you get more skin, which is my favourite bit!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -
With all due respect 2tonsils, copying and pasting across boards and/or threads (cross-posting) has always been regarded as a no-no since the internet was born.
Why not pick a thread and post all updates in there?
that will apply to me then as I did just that today. No problem, I will just post a hint or two on the SHTF board. Too bad if people miss it, no skin off my nose anyway, those that want to know already know where to look. Right fuddle?:D

There are some very unpleasant people on here at the moment. Such a shame.0

Hi all I really like kittie and 2tonsels weather posts I never really go on other boards only occasionally. Please don't stop posting them
.
On another note I think some people on this board are been rude to other posters and it's making me not want to post.
Anyway thankyou fuddle for the gingerbread man recipe we made them tonight with the boys.
I am going for a bath now to chillax. Dh has gone to work again.
My head has not been so bad today but my right eye is throbbing iv been walking round all day in my sun glasses it seams to help.
Hugs all round XxxxxxxI have dyslexia so I apologize for my spelling and grammar0 -
JEM - Glad you are a little more comfortable today, hope you enjoy a lovely bubble filled relaxing bath. Please don't stop posting, as with all things in life there will always be differences of opinion and heated words. It will pass, but the support and friendship we all share here will NOT. So stay with us and keep us up to speed with how you are and share the little giggly things with us that make life fun, Cheers and Hugs Lyn xxx.0

I find it really sad that we've got ourselves into a them and us type of scenario. Posters whom I've followed for years no longer want to mix on the tougher thread. It's really sad.
I have my friends on the tough thread but I have a liking for the posters of old.
Something has gone wrong somewhere and it's not nice0 -
I love reading 2T`s posts about greece and what it is really like living there and I hate it when people pop their heads up to slate off other people. There are nice ways of doing things, I hate the snappy posts that come up from the same posters from time to time
Anyway shtf for me but definitely no-where else and it`s only hints anyway. I am not a weather woman, although I find the weather very interesting but I won`t be reading a weather thread, which surely would be put in the arms anyway0 -
Look, I don't want to inflame anything, but I really don't understand why people are being so unpleasant, it really is not necessary.
If you lurk and read, that fine, but I don't think it is reasonable to suddenly pop up and start slinging accusations of unpleasantness around. No one is made to read this thread, most of use come on here because it is a nice place to be!
Where people get ideas about cliques from I do not know, it's got nothing to do with cliques, more like trying to keep the thread from internally combusting!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -
I only pop my head up when it gets outrageous. I read MSE just about every day as I have done since I found it; as I said to your pal, you have no right to criticise people for when they choose to post. And fuddle, the reason it has all gone wrong is because anyone who dares to have an opinion different from certain posters always get shouted down, and then as I m doing now, someone calls it like it is, and gets referred to as a dissenter or subversive out to cause trouble. I am sure I am not the only person who has been pm'ed to say that the pm'er wants to 'like' my post but hasn't got the backbone for fear that the nice folks on the thread that they normally get on with (because they ignore the rudeness and multiple postings for example ) may in fact ostracise them for daring to agree with someone who disagrees with them. It's worse than the playground!
It takes a lot to annoy me, but this'you don't post regularly so you shouldn't say anything' attitude really really annoys me. This is a free resource, and all are welcome, even those you don't agree with. It's a shame all the valuable advice gets lost when you are skim reading to avoid the repeated nonsense. And I am not rude enough to say I have put people on ignore to allow me to do that! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
Mrs Chip, you hadn't posted when I started typing, so that's not aimed directly at you. It's not aimed at anyone actually, and is just my opinion. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
