I got some conditioner with added Argan oil in the "1p less than 100p" shop earlier. Hoping it helps tame my static.....can tell its going to be cold and frosty when my hair does this.

Aw, please lets not be cross. :( tru has a point, as do hunters. It's their opinion that's all but I do happen to know that repeat posting isn't allowed on MSE. Maybe just post on here tonsils eh? Or we could figure out how to have an OS Adverse Weather thread? What do you think? Fancy starting one Tonsils?

Thanks Fuddle. Was just trying to explain but I didn't make a good job of it.

What Kittie does is to mention that she has posted something in another thread, which seems to work quite well - if you are interested it's easy to click across. I don't think I would be able to keep up with any more threads on a regular basis so speaking from a purely selfish point of view (see how blatant I am!) I'd like to see you carrying on posting here or on the prep thread.
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

VJsmum, you will fall in love with your halogen oven, I have :D I do bacon on the tall rack with the steel dishy thing underneath and it takes minutes. Last night I did Kentucky style chicken breasts (I know not very o/s but OH slept a lot so I had to nip out late) and hash browns underneath and the whole lot took about 15/20 mins and I didnt have to check on them they just turned themselves off. Its the washing bit that everyone loves to watch - its like a see through washing machine.

I must have saved a lot of money on the 'leccy since I got it ad last nights tea would have taken an hour and bacon takes ages under the grill. Bonus is my cooker stays clean too :rotfl:

I've put my jacket potatoes in the oven on 140 degrees without tinfoil. Do I need to wrap them in tinfoil?
  • I never wrap jacket potatoes in tinfoil FUDDLE, just give them a good pronging all over with a skewer and whack them on a baking sheet and cook them at 180/200 deg C for about an hour (longer if they are big oven busters). Hope that's useful, Cheers Lyn xxx. That is in a fan oven!
  • I love reading the weather reports posted on here and would miss seeing them so please dont stop.
I havnt managed to convince myself that i really NEED a halogen oven but i do really really WANT one! Maybe next year i will treat myself. I never wrap my jacket spuds either but nan used to. I do so love a nice jacket potatoe and they are always different depending on what topping you have. Prawn cocktail or beans and cheese are my favourites at the moment.

Since when have you been in charge of this thread and board, not to mention an authority on the internet? With all due respect....you and the Hunters are not even regulars yet you feel free to tell others what to do.

I'm so sorry for intruding on the thread I won't make the same mistake again, back to reading for me.
