Elkhounds are fabulous doggies! My BIL has two :) Walk in that house with your black wool coat on and you come out looking like an Elkhound :rotfl:

I'm very ashamed of myself tonight. My friend is being bullied and well, intimidated in the cul-de-sac where she lives. Tonight they started when I was in there. This woman has parked so my friend had to park in another neighbours space. It was a bid to set off world war 3 and just the tip of what my friend has to deal with. Unbeknown to her I would be coming home with her tonight. I got out of the car shaking my head and obviously set her off. She came out full of heck (pink fluffy slippers and fag in hand) shouting and swearing in front of our children. My friend ushered the children in and I let rip. I hate people being picked on  She was a real Jeremy Kyle-r and wouldn't let me get a word in, so I shouted louder and louder till I came to my senses. I left with "my children can hear your mouth, as can yours. You obviously have no respect for yourself so I'm not going to waste another breath talking to you". I was shaking in my friends house. I can't believe I let myself get drawn in to immature games. I just hope I haven't made it worse for my friend. I'm mortified. I don't behave like that and normally don't say boo to a goose.
  • FUDDLE - Chin up my girlie, you were supporting your friend, whatever was said by you was to defend her, you have no need to feel shame for any reason. You are a good and sound friend and you should be proud of that. If it hadn't been you tackling the person concerned it would certainly not have been long before someone else did it!!!!! It might make her think twice before doing it again, well done you, Cheers Lyn xxx. If ever I have problems, I hope I have someone as brave as you at my side little one, L xxx.

So sorry you felt stressed and poorly but with my nurses cap on - you do know that you should never take more than 2 paracetamol every 4 hours and no more than 8 in any 24 hour period. Paracetamol for adults come in 500mg so only 1 g. Sorry to be pedantic but paracetamol appears so innocuous but is very dangerous if taken over the limit. Even odd doses here and there add up as the liver finds it very hard to process.

Yes I know Molly and respect you telling me , but sometimes you feel as if the whole world is on your shoulders with pains ............appreciate your concerns,:)

Well ir rained pretty heavy this arvo and the wind does blow, but its not too cold................
We had one of those Fray Bentos steak and kidney pies for tea , with taters and veg, it was quite tasty and very meaty, couldnt be arsed to cook something "proper"...............

All your all keeping safe and warm in the areas where they are flooded................Sheila

Try sitting up or propping yourself up as I have raised intracranial pressure and laying down increases the pressure and makes the headache much worse x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Remember a few days ago Kittie reminding us that there would be bad storms and to double whatever the met office say? I've been watching my weather since and the warnings have increased in severity. At approx 3pm tomorrow the heavy rain and gusts should be upon us here on the North East.

I've been splashing water on my jacket. It's great to see little droplets forming on the surface and not sink in. Fingers crossed I'll be dry tomorrow. My muddy wellies will adorn my feet, only for a free clean I tell you ;)
