Good morning everyone, looks sorts of grey out, no sunshine yet. was hoping for a nice lay-in but OH rang at his usual time of 7.20 to talk to me as he drive along the motorway. Hes worrying about another man at work, hes nearly 60 and there work load is getting more and more. Everyone is ordering online for christmas - they are couriers.
He just worried as his man was getting all upset as he knew he couldnt do all that was put out for him. Im glad he was thinking of him, as he went into the office and got one of the managers to take some of the deliveries off him. At least they are aware that he cant do everythign like a 20 year old.

DD is statrting voluntary work as there are no jobs about, she is going to work at a daycare centre for adults with dementia, etc. She is learning sign language, so she willbe able to use it today.

Time for a shower, and tidy up before i prepare tea in the SC. Have work at lunch time..

I started feeling like why me and it's not fair at the age of 10 when my dad died of cancer. Those feelings eat you up inside, if you let them. They change who you are and how you cope, if you let them. They alter your behaviour and attitude to life, if you let them.

We all have our blips and inability to cope with what is thrown at us but heck, allow yourself a little time to go with the feelings then brush them off and get all determined... otherwise it will become all too consuming.

Don't let the feelings change you. Own the feelings, boss them around, tell 'em to b0ggar off! and stay in control of your own life.

smiley please keep us posted. It could very well be a urinary infection hun ok. Stay as calm as you can and gain strength from all your doggy loving friends being with you today, because I know you are going to be in my thoughts an awful lot today x

(((hugs))) meme and smilyt. Life isnt fair but my nan always told me what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Doesnt stop the hurt or the pain (mental/emotional or physical) though.
My mum died when i was 8, nan when i was 22 and i stil cry for them and miss them every day. Last night i really needed them as my eldest (18) had a meltdown after an argument with my 15 yr old. After a chat outside in the garden where she had gone to cool off, it turns out she hasnt been taking her anti depressants for the last 2 months because she wants to be normal. It took a while but she let me hold her and she cried so much. I dont know if i said the right thing but i told her she needs to take the medication just as an epeileptic or diabetic would. If she had either of those conditions would she refuse to take the medicine? If her leg was broken would she refuse to use the crutches supplied to help her? She thought for a few minutes and agreed that she would so i said anti depressants were no different. They were a necessary treatment and she needed to take them. It doesnt help that she is transition from childrens services to adult services and there is a delay so she is without support from mental health for the time being.
She has agreed to go to the doctors this morning though to get a new prescription and will start taking them again:T
Sorry for the long post but my head aches from too little sleep and lots of worry and i REALLY needed to let it out.

    So very very true Fuddle.
  • MEME - Hugs my friend, you'll find the strength you need to cope and God doesn't mind being shouted at, we are always here and with you in spirit and we will hold you in our hearts until it is all resolved.

BECCATJE - Haven't posted to you before as you needed a little time to come to terms with this blow to your lives. Good girl for accepting what can't be changed. You sound like a really strong family unit and you'll stand together through this and make the best you can from a bad situation. As you say who knows what doors will open for you from now on. The saying is 'After the darkest night comes the Dawn!' and that is often very true. Chin up, you can do it!!

SMILEY - So sorry to hear that TESS is poorly, don't go feeling guilty as whatever you have done has been to help her and she loves you anyway. Hope that when you get to the vet it is just a bug she's picked up, Hugs my friend, please let us know how she gets on.

BYATT - How is BESS this morning? I hope you got some sleep last night too, the day always looks brighter if you have managed a few hours of zzzzzzzzzzzz!!

Hugs to all who need them, have a good day all, Cheers Lyn xxx.

    Meme sending you a hug.

My problems seem trivial in comparison. Being bullied at work. Wrote about it on my diary. Its subtle and I was sooo calm about it yesterday (as the person tried to get me into a lot of bother that would have lost me my job), as soon as I left work I was so angry I wanted to explode. OH thinking world revolves around him atm isn't helping.... he's soooo tired.... boo hoo so am I, I do the same hours he does and have to wait to pick him up before I can go home myself.... he went to bed before I did last night and wondered why I was upset, I'd made our packed lunches and sorted out my clothes for the morning. Everything seems to be getting to me at the moment. My Gran had her check up (she was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and had a histerectomy, she missed our wedding because of the op and told me she'd be angry if I postponed our wedding) on monday and everything was ok. She's to go back in 6 months. OH gets his first op tomorrow on his eyes and I have my MRI in the afternoon, I'm dreading my MRI as I need that horrible metal stuff injected into me. OH is upset I won't go in with him (operating room) for his op, sorry but I feel queasy everytime I think about it. I need to be fit to drive myself to the other side of the city for my MRI. .... I suppose all in all I'm just fed up seeing nasty people get away scotch free in life, nothing bad ever seems to happen to them. I just want a break or some luck or both.
