I am feeling a bit bleugh today. I sporadically write a blog and I have had a message left about how basically I am an awful person and I bullied someone at school really badly. I honestly didn't and I am sure they have me mixed up with someone else. I am sure it is just someone trying to upset me for some reason but still, I am now trying to frantically wrack my brain to think who it could possibly be. They have left the message anonymously, so I don't know what to think!

I am a blogger too! Not a "big" blogger - just a little blog where I post all manner of random things.

That is the downside of a public blog - the nasty comments! I just delete them generally and move on.

I stick with a public blog as I like the community side to it!

Do many people here have blogs?

I bet they would be really interesting!!
  • Posession how did MrP get on at work today? I hope it all went well.

Fuddle it sounds like you handled your mums visit very well. I was 40 before I started to stand up to my dad and our relationship continues to get bettter, before I was 40 it was not a good relationship. I think it is great that you have your grandmothers ring. My nan has dementia and has lost her wedding ring (actully it was her mothers). Dad has nans jewellery box at home and when nan dies he is going to share its contents between myself and my three sisters. I would much rather have my nan than her jewellery but it will ba an honour to wear it.

sorry you are in so much pain softstuff. Do you know when you will get a diagnosis?

Tawney75 just ignore the nasty comments and keepon blogging. I imagine blogging is quite theraputic.

Did not have any accupuncture today as the physio said that the exercises he gave me last week have aggrivated the back injury (I already knew that), he wants me me to do different ones for the next week to stablise things before he starts accupuncture.

Stirfried lamb, veg and noodles tonight with left over lamb fromlast night. Hope DD amd OH get home soon I am in danger of starting to nibble and once I start ther is no stopping me :p
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.

I don't have a blog, have thought about it and might do in the future, but right now I'm not robust enough emotionally to handle nasty comments. I want to blog about my experience as a woman suddenly (overnight) facing losing a husband, home etc...and not making the right decisions about legal matters etc, either through not knowing, having a carp solicitor or being given well meaning, but useless advice from people who have not gone through it...such as, oh you won't lose your home...

But I would also have to be a little less bitter and twisted :rotfl:

There are a few bloggers here though, Pooky's site is fab, beautiful pics and lots of crafty and interesting things.

You can set it so that you have to approve any comment you get - that way you can control what gets through to your blog but you would still have to read them!

That sounds like it would be interesting to read and really useful for people going through something similar. :)

I don't really have a theme to mine .... unless rambling is a theme! :rotfl:

DH got on fine thanks Mrs VP apart from some HR mixup that means he doesn't have a desk, phone or computer! Still, he has a job which is the main thing.

That sounds a bit like me Byatt, I lost the house, business, pension & savings, not through bad advice though. But because the ex had it all planned & hidden.
I'm not sure if we are allowed to mention if we have a blog, I think the BG's will tell us one way or the other.

    Evening everyone.

Sorry to go on about the cat but........

I was in a local shop this morning and I asked the lady in there to keep her ears open in case some one mentions they have found a cat to which she said

"Have you tried the Chinese next door":mad::mad:

    She also said

"Oh loads go missing, have you seen the sheet on the entrance to the estate"

I was sooooo angry and quite ashamed of my reply. Nasty knows no limits when the right buttons are pressed :o

Forgot to add, the charity shop I help at was broken into, what is the world coming to ?????????

PIC - when my mum's dog went missing, most people pointed the finger at the local travelling community. In fact, they were the ones who were out looking for it, and gave her more help than anyone else.

Sounds like someone who never opens their mouth without first making sure both feet will fit in........

Having had cats go missing in the past, and now having two cats who are very dearly loved, I fully understand your position. Is your cat microchipped? Have you checked local vets and rescue centres? Have you tried looking in places that you know the cat goes to? What about under bushes - sometimes if a cat is feeling unwell it will hide away to rest?

I am probably not helping here, you have probably done these things already. It is just heartrending when a four legged family member goes missing. I really do hope that your cat turns up soon, safe and well.
