Morning all I hope your day is going well.
To all those who are feeling bad or have had bad news I add my hand to the healing circle.
Fuddle, it is wonderful news about the house, I am sure you will be happy there
I am feeling a bit bleugh today. I sporadically write a blog and I have had a message left about how basically I am an awful person and I bullied someone at school really badly. I honestly didn't and I am sure they have me mixed up with someone else. I am sure it is just someone trying to upset me for some reason but still, I am now trying to frantically wrack my brain to think who it could possibly be. They have left the message anonymously, so I don't know what to think!I promise that I will do my best.....0 -
No, little one, not at all weird unless you're me as I also wear He who knows's grandmas wedding ring!!!!! Take your Mums comments with a pinch of salt, folks usually lash out with innapropriate comments when they are unsure what else to say, Alfie will love being with you wherever you live, because you're his Mumi and he is your boy,and his home is where you are!!! I'm gald you know she loves you, you deserve it. Now step forward and pick up your new start in sure and steady hands and enjoy being a new you in a new place. You can do it!!!!, Cheers Lyn xxx.0

Fuddle I wear my grandmother's wedding ring on my right hand. My mother wore it as well because her mother (ie my grandmother) got a little portly in middle age and couldn't wear it any more. And my daughter wants it after me. I don't use it as a wedding ring because it's a very broad band and didn't work with my engagement ring. But it means a lot to meIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Stiltwalker it looks like you had a fab day ! The dresses look great - how I wish I could sew - and your husband loOks so proud of his family .
Christmas is sorted for me so dilemma of what to do/say without hurting feelings is no longer an issue - am working nights over the whole time ( 24th and 25th ) so will be sleeping . Have been vegan now for about 2 weeks and now thinking of what to make for a special meal boxing day Mmmmm
Also agree with what others say re dog show . Going to go smile sweetly and have "conversations" in my head . If it gets too much I will leave . Wonder how long it'll be before they twigDate restarted DFW 30/04/16

And I have been married for over 30 years and never wear a ring! They drive me mad and itch so I don't bother. I remember years ago being on a bus in Derby with 2 little ones and being asked if I was ashamed of myself for having them without a husband!
How times change!0 -

Tell me about it. I try to be fair and have never, ever removed any comments that are posted. All I have ever asked is that Anon posters leave a name in the body of the post(which is probably made up anyhow)but it helps everyone in that you have an idea which anon said what otherwise even the anon's get confused who is who...
Unless there are clues that sound familiar it could be someone out to cause mischief sadly.
What a horrible day here. It is cold, wet with a colourless sky.
Well, I had to go out to buy some of those sheets that catch colour runs when you wash clothes in the washer. I popped into the charity shop and though it is a bit large for me, I found a jumper in mauve originally John Lewis brand 93%Lambswool and 7%Cashmere for 99p so I think that is a bargain..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Does anyone know where I can buy canned pumpkin pur!e? Some of the American blogs I follow have some fab pumpkin recipes at the moment and suggest that it's better using the canned stuff as it is much drier. I want to make spiced pumpkin scones and lattes. I will have another search in Mr T's later.
Take care everyone xxxxx
I could not get any last year but bought a couple of tins off AmazonI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Fuddle - I'm not married, and I wear rings from both my grandmothers - one engagement ring and one wedding ring :-)0
