Princess87 its in the 'doing' where you become strong, take control and are in charge of changing your future.
Being proactive and working for change is what helps you grow as a person, so I would flip it on it's head... 'I've got all this to do so I can move on in my life for a more secure future and to to become a more grounded person'. Think positively - try not to hate the paperwork, see it as a tool for fighting your way out. You are lucky in that you have the housing deposit money sitting there waiting for you. You're half way there!
Kez, horribly shocking news. I'm so very sorry.0 -
This is the part of life we have no control over sadly just how we try to cope and deal with it:(I am torn in that I miss those who were special in my life but they leave memories and made me who I am, then again not having people that you become attached to means less heatache when they leave you but then you miss the emotional well being of having those special people in your life.
It is not easy. Thinking of you Kezlou. It is the one sure thing we have in our lives."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
"Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won't come in" ~ Alan Alda0 -
PX87 it's tiring work sorting out, and it seems to take forever, a bit like climbing Mount Everest in a blindfold!!! but every single thing that gets done is one less thing on the to do list, and one day the to do list will be shorter than the done list and you'll have cracked it!!! I've heard the saying that God only gives us what we can handle along with the saying God gives us the strength and endurance to handle what he sends us, and there's a lot of truth in that pet. Families are a whole other ball game, they make for a lot of angst and a lot of problems and are very good at making you feel guilty on occasion. What I would say is put you and your OH first in all things at the moment, be a bit selfish if you have to, you have pressures enough to deal with without the games families play too, time enough to sooth wounded relatives in the future, because that's what you're fighting for at the moment, a better future for you and NOTHING is more important than that is it? Chin up chicken, you'll get there, Cheers Lyn xxx.0

KEZ sorry for the news, its true god takes the good ones too early. I know, he took my dad and I would love for him to come back.
Not having the best of days today, its been a tearful day for no apparent reason. I am emotionally drained, and I am worn out. My mum always says god moves in mysterious ways, well I lit my big candle today and that was it the tears came......
DD called they have a viewing on a house tomorrow, its in the next village.
Tea is just starting to cook, I have made a dozen yorkies. There is only 3 of us, but they are still yummy cold.BSC member 137

Sorry you are feeling down Nutty, some days are just like that, for no real reason. But it's good that DD has a viewing !
Yorkshires freeze really well, and take only moments to reheat. I often do them so that OH can have them when he has a roast (leftovers) or sausages during the week.Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -
Hi guys, am alive, just a bit behind on my Toughy thread reading. Will resurface when I've caught up with your doings. Love and peas to all, GQ xx

Evening all,
Have been trying to catch up on things all day and its been tiring....got DD4 her birthday present but will not give it to her until Tuesday, which is her birthday....32, where has the time gone??
Raining all morning but is now sunny and warm.
Hugs to those of you who are in trouble or strife, Kezlou, trust that your dear aunt doesn't suffer.
Possession....we are going to our eldest grand-daughter's first communion in N London this weekend, so must be that time of year in UK, usually May here. Spoke briefly to DD2 today and she sounds stressed.....must be more like her father than I thought!
Stay safe and well everybody

Kezlou - so sorry to hear your sad news. Thinking of you and wishing you strength to get through.
Nice to see you GQ! There's a lot of reading on here, I am responsible for a good chunk of it eeek sorry!
Hope you enjoyed your dinner nutty and have a better day tomorrow, be kind to yourself.
Boys and I have just eaten. Used some very old fruit/veg up, old enough for free TV licences at least! Made sweet and sour chicken for kids and DS9 has 2 helpings and pudding and is still hungry! I had the dregs of the chili and then the end of the sweet and sour, both with rice. Ancient bananas morphed into cake and an elderly lemon had the same fate. Feels good to use stuff up and produce tasty food doesn't it? Off to cut bread for DS to make himself a sandwich.0 -
OMG, but I am tired. But I caught up. Not feeling 100% today as have a sort-of cold and get a bit spinny if I move my head too quickly, which makes for an interesting life.
Work has been a bit headbanging this week with lotsa hideously complicated stuff. It's like to Gordian Knot sometimes but, unlike Alexander the Great, I'm allowed to pull a sword and cut thru the lot.
Allotment is sluggish (literally and figuratively lol) and there aren't enough hours in the day for all that needs to be done. Flat's a pit and I want to lay on the sofa and read trashy novels.
Never mind. Very small grumps in an otherwise easy life. Better check in with SHTF and Hoarders threads, see what they're all up to over there.
