Welcome AOT and Princess........Its quite worrying to read how many of us have depression, and stress, and are under the dr with it......

Mar , so glad the kelp is helping you, I remember last year a couple of your posts you were saying you cant be arssed to get off your butt, well thats real good that you now have some energy, long may it continue....Hows the "bareroot" rose doing..?

Its been beautiful again today , im actually sitting in the summerhouse with a nice bit of sunshine on my legs, 2 dogs snoring away.......:D.....I had my tea out here ,:), I had new taters, mint, with loads a butter, salt pepper, and some cold sliced meat, cor it was lovely......

Must make the most of this super weather as the winters seems to get longer.........

Poundland have perennial plants at £1 each and apparently in real good condition , you can getmuch for the garden for £1.....................
QD have loads of plants too, plus clemmatis at £2 each........

I dont buy bedding plants, too much money and they only lasts a few months, so Ive got garden full of perennials with plenty of colour from May to November...........Right its near 6 o clock and I really ought to do a bit of watering ........................Bed early again tonight:)....Sheila

Hi everyone and thanks for all the warm welcomes.

Its so refreshing to be around others thatunderstand the hard times we’re all facing. Certain family members of mineseems to take the attitude that mental illness is just poppycox (Changedspelling)

These family members are also “OK” money wise and seemto think that everyone else is too, So they do things that makes me look stupidjust for fun. So trying my hardest at present to steer clear of these so calledfamily members until im on a more even understanding.

I have been reading through and sadly I not everfar in at the moment. Maybe this has been asked more than once, Where should I belooking for further advice on debt. CAB is fully booked and twice I’ve hadappointment changed because its too busy. So this evening im taking the adviceand trying step change!!
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

wcs is correct but you need to be there early; by 9.30 the queue is such that you will not get seen that day.

Evening toughies, and welcome to our newbies :)

Mardatha - I am so pleased you have found something to help, you deserve a break after months of feeling so ill.

Stiltwalker - as the pram is relatively new can you not simply request a replacement and send this one back when the new one arrives?

    WCS - welcome home :)

We are having a tough week, I am lifeless and struggling to get through the day, which with the beautiful weather is a travesty.
Exams all over the place, and DS15 had an absolute zinger of a meltdown yesterday and attacked OH, not good at all.

    Thanks Mrs LW and SavingsQueen:)
Would happily help with your spring clean...I have so little in my home now(I didn't in the first place and most was in the garage so silly the way I have been hounded)mostly documents to shred and they were in the garage harming no one.

I talked to a neighbour today(she had a visit)and they did not look around her home and behave as they have with me.

She told me another neighbour near her has been renting(living alone)for over 30 years and is with my HA and his home is full of antiques and the garage is so full he cannot put his car in it so you do wonder...

Your safe as long as you play by their rules. You have the old tenancy so they can't touch you but yes, I do wonder because of the under occupying. They need that house for families with a lot of children or extended families. I don't blame them but I wouldn't want you hounded out either.

Princess, this was 4 years ago but I used national debtline. A free phone line that was impartial and knowledgable about different options surrounding debt. I don't know if there are any others or if they are still going but thought to mention a help line that you call when ever you need without appointment and was free.

I know where my anxiety stems from sheila - the loss of our stability and safety surrounding the house we lost. My problems are from my childhood but were triggered at that horrible time financially. Mental illness and lack of money or stability go hand in hand I think.

Princess, stick with us. So many of us are t-shirt wearers ;)

What a gorgeous day we've had. Had a lovely ferry trip up the Solent this morning, it was our biennial reunion of our school year. Ye gods! We might all be 74 but today we proved that we could be as rowdy and silly as we were at 18. A few other diners in the restaurant got up and moved in disgust. Never mind, another 2 years before we annoy people again.

Mar: I'm very interested in the Kelp. I've had my thyroid tested twice now and each time all the doc would say was that its function was 'within normal limits'. I have the feeling that it's probably at the lower end of the normal limits. I am going to investigate the Kelp further. Well done you for trying it and thank you for passing on your positive results.

Princess: Welcome. You've come to the right place for a bit of company, lots of help and understanding and the experience of folk who have been in just your situation. We'll hug you, cry with you and make you laugh. Life sucks sometimes but we are here to hold your hand. Take baby steps petal, and although things might look hard and bleak there is immense satisfaction in beginning to tackle problems and see things start to get sorted.

AOT: Welcome to you too, and the same thing goes for you.

Pops: I know things are a bit difficult for you to cope with but just think how far you have come in the past year. The world's now your lobster, as Del Boy would say.

Fuddle: The time when my boys were small and I had no money and was making do and mending like crazy remain as one of the happiest times of my life. The boys assure me that they had no idea that things were so desperate and as far as they were concerned their childhood was magical and the envy of their friends. Don't even think about whether things look 'rustic' or authentic, it doesn't matter a rat's behind what things look like. Just be happy.

I have now mastered crocheted Granny Squares. Yay Me!:j:j:j

Am off down the garden to see if I can catch any slugs lurking near my runner beans.

    Nighty night.

Nice thought Kidcat, but they do so few of these they are custom built to order, ours was the wider spec due to having size 2 seat - this one took 2 months to be built and delivered from Germany!

Decided to make the most of the sunshine when DH got home from work and went out to our 'home from home' (the farm park where DD's favourite donkeys live!)
