Can you imagine what would happen if one of your pets was ill and you told RSPCA officials that you didn't intend to take it to the vet until it was doubly incontinent, immobile and had lost a limb? You'd be in court so fast your feet wouldn't touch the ground.

Loft/attic is now closed:)Hopefully no climbing that ladder for a while, I deserve a break...

I have a few small bags in the garage I hope to reduce between now and Friday and have taken away by my gardener/odd job man.

I have one slight mess on the landing to clear from a bag he filled last time he was here but discovered food and some kitchen items in it so I'll add the food to my store and put the other stuff in the cupboards.

Hopefully, the visit will go ok on Friday...but that has to be clear by Friday whatever happens but its nice to not have to be going up and down that ladder...

My legs are very happy about that...what's in the porch should be gone by today and the wheelie bin is full of old video tapes...no room for anything else. Its really heavy...

Not as sunny today but that could change before the day is out.

The last day or two I have been letting more and more of Mum's clothes go to the charity shop and I am about to take some more in the next few minutes...that is probably another psycological step in my recovery/coming to terms with my new life...

Wishing a good day for everyone and for those getting away this weekend, I hope you have a great time...

Nice to hear some are having trips out and re-charging batteries. I could just do with a trip to the coast.

Pooky glad you both got through the day. As you say tomorrows another day, thats what I am thinking now as we have big day at the hospital too. I shall keep in mind your positive attitude, thank you x

DGS had a visit from the support staff at his new school yesterday, all very positive too. Basically the first week he is watched to see what his needs are then decisions will be made. He is in a class of 7 which is very good and Im thinking he will enjoy it lots. He is doing very well and now stringing words together. Yesterday Mummy and Daddy took him to Blackpool and he went on a tram - he loves trains and trams and they take him on them as often as possible 'just because they make him smile' mind you smiling is one of his favourite occupations too :D

    Morning toughies.

Ginny DGS sounds a sweeties, glad hes happy in school. At least they know while he is there he is safe and his needs are being met.

POPS, wow that's a lot of sorting being done. just remember its ok to keep 1 or 2 special things to remember your mum by. No one has the right to deny you this.

I have the morning off, luckily. The new to me table and chairs from the charity shop arrived this morning. They are delivered by 2 lovely people who dis assembled the table and then re assembled it in my chosen room. So a bit thank you to them. I made them a cuppa while they were working.

The gas engineer from the council is working away, he is replacing a radiator, pump and heat exchanger. No heat required but I hope it will finally work quietly.

Youngest DD had her first resit gcse yesterday, an English exam. She said she thought it went sort of ok. There was a debate section on there - something we often end up doing over various things. She said she wrote it how she would say it, and that she put a statement at the beginning saying so!!! I hope that is appreciated by the person who marks them. Kidkat, my daughter made the same comment about the exam paper only she said she would rather be at home with her 'things' make of that what you like!!!

OK must get myself motivated, washing needs pegging out and then I need to pack my salad for tea. I am attempting to do a healthy eating plan, I need to loose a good few stone :-( to say im unhappy and ashamed about It is an understatement.

    Take care x

Stardrops has been basking in the sun in costa del car. All cleaned and hoovered. Tried doing the windows with paper and vinegar spray (in the sun!) so imagine the state.

Loads of carrots so doing some 'we'll eat again' rationing carrot cookies for lunch boxes. Very tasty considering the lack of ingredients used to make them.

Aldi 22p noodles for lunch and burgers in buns with cheese and tomato and a side if chips for tea.

I have upstairs hoovering and bathroom tidying to do this afternoon then my aldi shopping list for tomorrow.

I'm calm but in a thoughtful mood and actually really angry at seeing Kerry kato*a on my screen advertising huge APR loans. I'm disgusted that a bankrupt would endorse such a thing, and being an ex bankrupt I can very well say that! Ok, been found out Loose Women is on (blush)

Looking forward to the programme on tonight about a woman of an older age going through a change in her life, love and marriage I think it's called. Hopefully an easy watching comedy with a bit of sentiment.

Enjoy the rest of the day friendly folks.

Really(Sadly)there is very little to remember Mum by...a few photo's, a ring that's about it. Clothes well, they are probably doing better given to charity.

Have been in touch with someone about the way I have been dealt with and they are suspicious of what has happened and if I decide to they may act on my behalf and could stop their visit on Friday.

Questions have been asked and lets say in a roundabout way there are hints of many disputes/unhappiness with my landlord. Overal people were happier when they were under council ownership. So we'll see what happens in the next few days...

Unusual for me(especially with having little hair remaining)I went and had a haircut and its looking nice and tidy.

Hi - a quick pop-in to say that Aldi here (West Wales) have standard Bay trees on special £8.99 - they looked really good too, I had to resist as just spent up at the garden centre. Hope any of you looking for bay trees can track some down (might be worth ringing local stores to check).
