overheard in the campsite washroom just now (we are away in the caravan for a.few dayz)
"i like to iron my duvet cover so it has a sharp crease in the dead centre and that has to be in the dead centre of the bed"
I just thought "iron a duvet cover?"
OH says he likes the creases to be all around himBleedin' heck, that's extreme. Even I've never stooped to ironing a duvet cover.

It's Solgar, North Atlantic kelp, 250 tabs. Doesn't give a doseage but I got them on Amazon. Been on these a month now, and this is the best I've felt in years. I still get exhausted after doing a lot - but next day I'm fine again. Instead of being flattened for 3 days. So it might mean that I'm borderline low thyroid and the blood tests aren't picking it up, or it might mean that it gives that wee extra boost that makes all the difference.0

Rare night out with my lovely sister in law this evening, fish and chip supper followed by the latest star trek film at the cinema, oh God I do love a nice explosion on screen!!!!!!! really good special effects, computer generation has come a long, long way - much giggling and putting the world to rights, it might have involved a bit of chocolate as well, only might I add, well not too much any way. Really good entertainment, nice to see the cinema so full, mind I expect it was because of Benedict Cumberbatch (well it was for us!) he does play a really good baddy and it had a tribble in, I do like a good tribble in a film, don't you? Cheers Lyn xxx.0

Oh Mrs LW I am envious - is the new Star Trek film as good as the first one? Well the first reboot if you see what I mean. I'll have to wait till it comes out on DVD but I'm really excited about it - I'm such a geek sometimes!
I thought the reboot was really believable and love the cast they've chosen.
I've always loved the idea of ironing, but never carried it through to the practical side of things. So while I love the smell of hot linen, I rarely experience it!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Many years ago when I was about 8 or 9 I was walking through a northern town with my mother and a school friend, following behind 2 headscarf clad, ladies of a certain age who could have come straight out of coronation street. They were chatting away to each other as were we when all of a sudden one of them exclaimed loudly - "and 'e dropped dead on the toilet"!!! We had to drop back as we were all completely creased - to this day it is one of my enduring childhood memories!0 -
I was unable to receive an emailed copy of our school newspaper to print, it was blocked by our filter due to 'pornographic language' I informed our IT techies, who eventually realised it had a review of the Star Trek film on the back page. The said problem language was Benedict Cumberbatch, the filter didn't like the first 3 letters of his name!!

jpsclous - the film is v. watchable. the story line is a bit daft in places but it doesnt ruin it. DD is a massive ST and general sci fi geek and kt all srarted.when i took her to Star Trek 1 a few years ago. And we both love Mr Yumberbatch :-)I wanna be in the room where it happens0

We're off to see ST on Friday night, I'm looking forward to Mr Quinto, he's quite easy on the eye. (loved his badie character in Heros too)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

hi everyone, I went to see fast and furious 6 over the weekend, it is very good if not a little far fetched. It is 12a, so nothing bad in the film as long as your kids don't fancy wanting to race a car. It is set in London, so some noticeable land marks in the film.
Yesterday was truly pants at work, things are going to be changing in the next few weeks and not for the better. We will be made to do more instore promoting.
Today I am taking eldest DD fianc! to the dentist, then when I get back I am taking mum to aldi. When I get back, pack my sandwiches and off to work. Tomorrow is a day off, so I will be doing very little.
take care everyone xBSC member 137

One that I particularly treasure was two women dissing another, not present, as : So tight she wouldn't give you the drippings from her nose.
Priceless!
I do love a bit of earwigging at times, it's helped many a long bus journey pass more swiftly - good job I have a great poker face, until something really hits the funny bone and I collapse into the giggles..........
HH, the sweary filter here on MSE edits out the name of a northern town beginning with S and ending in thorpe.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
