oh my gawd just started through the paperwork and i wish i hadnt.
Two black bags of junk i've got rid of

Most of it was mail from the business side of things, papers with what's on offer every week and such like. Well its gone with now. I can actually close the filing cabinet and have two empty drawers.
The bin are not going to be happy with me, i have both of bins up with rain destroyed items from the garage, debris from the garden and junk from the house.

Had to go out into rain today, came back completely soaked, looks like its starting to stop now.

Your all mad, ironing is such a dirty word!

KIDKAT, Well done on the DLA award, Like others have said to you its very handy when you have extra expense in the household due to disabilty.......I know what you mean about having the heating on higher and longer, we do here too, its the mornings still at this time of a year that we have the GCH come on at 5.30 and goes off just after hubby has been showered , he feels the cold terrible sitting all day.........

At this time of a year during the day he as a big fleece blanket on him.....

Had a nice long staedy rain all night which done the ground some good, plus its been drizzly and cloudy today, sunshine here onwards would certaintly give a spurt in the veg growth.......:D

Its suppose to be 16 degrees here tomorrow, so that a nice temp.........

Ive got lovely shepherds pie and leeks and cauliflower for tea and it smells so nice cooking, Im gonna go and set the table, Im quite hungry now , its the smell :D...................

Oh and yes I love irioning , love the duvets and pillow cases looking pristine on the bed just before I jump in...............Sheila

Thank you for all the good wishes. The money will make a massive difference - our heating is still on for hours as the boys cant cope with the cold. Things like today we went to the zoo and when we were leaving we upgraded our day tickets to yearly membership, which means that when we go and one of the boys cant cope any more I wont worry that we have wasted loads of money. Several times today DS15 wanted to leave but because the entry cost so much I wanted to get the kids to see everything they wanted. Now with membership we can go just for an hour if need be and visit just a few animals. :)

mardatha am so glad you are feeling better, and finding a good butcher too you are living the high life. My RL friends would think I was mad if I got excited about finding butcher - but you lot all understand :)

mar i love finding good butchers, we have a good near us and a few near where we used to live. I'm like you kidcat.

Well sent my dla form off for me, now just waiting for ds2's form to arrive.

I'm about to run off for a few hours, a friend of mine is childless and blokeless so offered to pop over. So taking a few cans (they have been in the cupboard since january 2013:o). also offered my services to help clean the cat rescue out, what i am thinking. Can't handle ironing but can cat muck :rotfl::rotfl:

Just hoping i don't have a panic attack, i'm not used to going out in the evening on my own. Already ds2 is starting to panic about me not being here, ds1 is starting up to. To be honest i know it sounds awful but i don't a break. ds2 has been off school for four weeks so i need to be childless i think :(. Bad mummy that i am.

I'm just popping my head over the parapet to say that you are NOT a bad. Mom at all kezlou. We all need a break every now and again and it will do your boys good to realise that. Once they know that you are going away for just a little bit and coming back, they will get the hang of it. Go and enjoy yourself, stop feeling guilty and do something for you xxxx

My black dog has been sitting on my chest, but it now starting to back away and I am starting to feel more myself. I got DH to dye my hair for me and I even managed to shave my legs yesterday whoooo hooooo :D

Take care everyone. Hugs, chocolate crunch and piles of ironing where appropriate .........( personally if I ever think of ironing something I go and lie down in a dark room until the urge goes away )

kezlou- you need a break too, even if I just pop out for a coffee for an hour I am much better with the kids
Well done on filling in the forms, I am feeling a little guilty, my friend filled her sons forms in on the same time that I did and hers is being held waiting for school reports, whereas once again mine was approved immediately.
At the time I offered to help her but she decided to do it mainly alone, our IT guy tried to help her a little but he says she wouldnt change the way she worded things. He said based on the way she wrote it he wouldnt pay her either and he knows her son and just how much care he needs.

"i like to iron my duvet cover so it has a sharp crease in the dead centre and that has to be in the dead centre of the bed"

OH says he likes the creases to be all around him :D
I wanna be in the room where it happens

H*lls bells Kez - I'll take a trip to Mr T to pick up some milk as a break as long as it's a solo trip!!! Although I do have to admit that looked a bit sad and pathetic on DD's assessment by SS, but granted it probably helped get her taken on by the disabled child team! A few tinnies with a mate sounds like heaven to me although can I have a nice bottle of pinot grigio instead?

Meant to say earlier Mar - so glad the new tablets are helping and how good is it that you can get your green stuff in lovely inoffensive tablet form!!

I find that hilarious! We are another couple with creased duvets, even if I did iron them, they wouldn't stay pristine long. Stripey cat is getting bolder in his old age and likes to sleep on our bed until he is discovered, then jumps off and sneaks back in again later... repeat as many times as possible during the day! Kids like to hide out there sometimes for a bit of space as they share a room, the other day there was an assortment of action figures hidden on DH's side of the bed "to surprise daddy". Lovely surprise when you fall into bed after a long day! My vice is taking tea and biscuits to bed - DH does not appreciate the crumbs!

So a crease exactly in the centre of our duvet :rotfl:

Feeling pleased with myself, sorted out very cheap train tickets after much faffing about and an expedition around London without tubes to further save fares. Saving money like that gives me such satisfaction! Hope it's a success, my boys and friend all trust me to organise a good day, friend says I should be a tour guide!
