Muscle Soak 500ml: WBA as has lovely strong lavender (my fav!) smell - once stocks used of course!;)

just goes to show how different people are - I loathe the smell of lavender! I put all my lavender bubble baths into a handwash bottle a while ago and I can't stand to even use them as handwash! I make myself use it when I run out of other handwash but I can never cope with it for more than a few days.

    Morning all.

    Have a big uu today

Herbal Essences Volume Conditioner - 400ml, WBA as it is usually available on some offer and now that I have started using PK Elasticizer I have found that all my other products seem to be more effective and this did give volume.

Still have half a bottle of the matching shampoo left as I opened a second one to use with this conditioner (2 shampoo to one conditioner) so have replaced the conditioner with a tube of Superdrug brunette intensive conditioner.

Will have some ins later today but will declare them now as I am going to collect a Boots order containing 2 x Real Techniques expert face brushes (these were buy one get one half price) and Philisophy Pumpkin Pie shower gel.

A uu today. Garnier conditioner (out of hair dye pack).
Decided to go through all the little things like that first.

Does anyone know of a very cheap brand of shampoo/conditioner that doesn't have all the nasties in such as parabens? the nasties flare up my psoriasis and make me itch like hell! The stuff I normally get is over four quid each, so looking to at least half that price if possible.

Sorry to barge in as I lurk on this thread for inspiration - my stash is not too bad because I lurk here if that makes sense?
It's not very cheap but the Naked range is 2 for £6 at Boots at the moment and the Sensitive shampoo and conditioners are paraben, sls and silicone free. They are not very exciting though and I will be switching to the Organic Surge shampoo and conditioner that I use on my daughter once these are used up!

    I have 2 UUs :) and 2 INS :(

UU - L'Oreal Youth Code night cream. I like this stuff, but might try something else for a while.

UU - Avon dry oil body spray. Would buy this again, but don't need to as I have several in my stash...

INs - two of the facial oils from Etat Pur (arg, itallics!). I have eczema and skin problems & these were highly recommended to me.
  • Argh I've done it again, not a good month for me.

Came into work this morning and my skin was foul - dry, spotty and very sore. Not sure what's up with it lately. So at lunchtime I popped out to the nearest shop and bought the cheapest moisturiser I could find - a small blue tub of original Nivea cream. Oh it's foul! Thick, clogging, greasy stuff that I know is going to make my skin worse so won't be using it. What a waste of money, what do I do with it? :(

That stuff is pretty good on feet and elbows. I have used it as a hand cream before. I agree that it is vile. I have very dry skin, but still find it just sits on the skin like lard. Urg.

I had the same thoughts about this product too. In an attempt to be :money:I tried it out on my feet but couldn't take the greasy feel on my feet either. - In the bin it went!

Still nothing doing on the UU front. This has been my slowest month yet on this challenge (over two year verteran). Still feeling a strong resolve :).

    Have a couple of UU to report;

TBS Lightening Touch concealer - WNBA, didn't like the texture of this towards the end.

Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser - WBA, HG cleanser.

    And a few IN's:

    Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser
    Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
    Rimmel Black Cab Nail varnish
    Essie Chinchilly Nail Varnish.

Avene and Bourjois were necessary, the other 2 were because I saw a really nice nail art picture of Chinchilly with a black polish sponged over the top. Going to try Chinchilly on it's own tonight and might put a bit of glitter over the top.

Ok i must be in the minority here but as much as its thick and greasy my skin on my face really thanks me for this as a night cream ...although i find i have to apply it 30 mins before bed to allow it time to "soak in" or else u get weird white marks on dark sheets and pillow cases.
