One IN today - Superdrug are selling V05 500ml shampoo for £1.79 rather than £3.79 so thought I'd get one ready for when ours runs out.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

One UU and a needed IN.

UU: Tresemme deep cleansing shampoo 100ml. WMBA, it's good for a deep clean every so often.

IN: Neutrogena hand cream. This is my HG and was 1/3rd off in Sainsburys. I need one for my desk.
  • Ins...

    Nivea rich day cream 1.5ml x 2
    Nivea cleansing cream wash 1.5ml x 2

These got shoved in my face at Asda yesterday. Will keep these for when I have used my face wash, or if going away for a night.
I've created a box for things that I need to start using, that's kept in sight. The whole out of sight out of mind quote, definitely applies to my toiletries and makeup! Going to make a box for travel/sample items. NEED to get seriously organised!.

Counted the rest of my stash and the new total is 146.

Have a uu from yesterday that I had forgotten about

Day Spa Vanilla and Neroli body butter, this was a big pot and seemed to be on the go forever. I WBA as it is super thick but easily rubbed in, more suited to night time rather than when you need to get dressed though. Lovely fragrance and not expensive either.

  • Has anyone used Revlon shampoo and conditioner? I won it in a raffle at the weekend. I'll report is as an IN if anyone recommends it, otherwise it's going to the car boot box!

A good day today in several respects, firstly two use ups:-

Clinique eye quick liner for eyes in dark brown, No. 7 eyebrow pencil in blonde.

Hospital today, start putting full weight on operated upon ankle, get a schedule from the physio on Thursday, and, I am :j:j:j, as I had a phone call to say I had won a raffle I had entered recently at lovely jewellers when I took something in to be mended, it was for local cancer charity, and I have won £50 value of vouchers to spend at the jewellers shop.

Lastly, thanks everyone for the help with the Panda eyes problem, I will make a note of them and think about what to try first.

Mortgage reduction novice - my hairdresser in Dorset used to use Revlon Equave products and they were very good. Don't know about anything else though.

Couple of UU for me today:

    • Muscle Soak 500ml: WBA as has lovely strong lavender (my fav!) smell - once stocks used of course!;)
    • Shampoo/Conditioner 2in1 300ml x 1: again WBA as has nice eucalyptus smell which is lovely & fresh (think it's Al*di's)
Starting to lose track with updating my original list :o so think I'll have to give up on that & just post what I've finished - hope OK.

  • Yet again a UU that wasn't actually mine but DS's, the dregs of an Original Source Men Rehydrating Sports Wash with Black Pepper and Sea Salt.
This would have stayed in the bathroom for months -years- if I hadn't used the last 8 ml or so. I'm sure it was a pound shop buy.
Can't say if it rehydrated me as I coated myself in body oil after my shower.
WIBA for DS as he did use it. Unlike the orange and ginger or lime or lemon gels ....

  • Re the Ojon shampoo problem in John Lewis: I think the staff take the freebies most of the time. I remember going to House of Fraser in Leeds once, on the first day of an offer (a free 50ml perfume from a magazine) to be told, "they've all gone". When I pointed out that the offer started that day, that I was the first person through the door of the shop and perhaps they'd like to check again, they miraculously found one for me. I'm so used to the "sorry, they've all gone" fob off that I never bother these days.
