No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in November

Can anyone make a recommendation for mascara to suit runny eyes in cold winds? I used to love Clinique ones, but have got fed up with Panda eyes and the Gemma Kid freebie was a disaster for me. I have a No 7 waterproof one, but prefer not to use waterproof every day as I think it might be too drying for me.
not a mascara but i cant reccomend this stuff highy enough. its a clear gel you put on after your mascara and it has really cleared up my panda eyes, my mascara has lasted from putting it on til the morning after with this stuff on (and yes, i know i shouldnt fall into bed with my make up on!) i think Clarins do a version of it too.

My final UU for a few days I believe:
Champneys spa indulgence thai royale body cream travel size.
As with the bubble bath, I liked the smell of this. It did however leave me feeling a little sticky. WMBA but I prefer body oils on the whole0 -
UU
Clarins One Step Facial Cleanser, 10ml - WBA, really nice light cleanser. For non panda eyes mascara have you tried Blinc mascara, it forms little tubes around your lashes so it doesnt flake or smudge. Tis good for sensitive eyes/contact lens wearers like me. i was thinking of getting some only yesterday after the lix earle one I had on went all flakey! I'm sure theres a Lancome or other high brand that does the same as well.
Another UU: simple moisture boost spray WNBA - I got this in a swap and tbh I'd rather use plain cool water! wasnt a fan of the smell and cant wait to get back to my liz earle skin tonic! xNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
A uu today. Garnier conditioner (out of hair dye pack).
Decided to go through all the little things like that first.
Does anyone know of a very cheap brand of shampoo/conditioner that doesn't have all the nasties in such as parabens? the nasties flare up my psoriasis and make me itch like hell! The stuff I normally get is over four quid each, so looking to at least half that price if possible.May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far

I kind of overdosed on it when I did an AD with "The Q" and the almond shower oil was the item that was in every set but I used some this year again and remembered how much I loved it.
I didn't realise the Badgal came in plum - will definately be investigating that as I once had some plum mascara from Boots No 7 and it really suited me. Currently using a Smashbox mascara and having the same problem as Maddiemay and end up with panda eyes by the end of the day. I stopped putting it on my bottom lashes but it still manages to smudge onto my under eye. Will persevere until the end of the month I think then throw the towel in and move on to something else from the stash.
BTW - had a count up of my £1s in my toiletry money box and now have £190 saved since January - not bad as I really haven't missed the £1 every time I UU something.
I'm the same as kiplingmonkey in that I had the QVC AD with the almond in it and always had a bottle on the go. MrM likes it more than me. He enjoys using it on holiday. I have a bottle in my stash because I bought a set of three before our hols intending to take it away with us but then MrM bought some Badian and used that instead.
Kiplingmonkey I've had the Benefit plum mascara before and it's lovely. It's another item that was in the flash sale the other day though so again I'm wondering whether they're going to discontinue it. There was also a brown Badgal in the sale which I'd never heard of before.
Well done on your savings. xFor non panda eyes mascara have you tried Blinc mascara, it forms little tubes around your lashes so it doesnt flake or smudge. This sounds similar to Clinique Lash Power mascara which I love. Never have a problem with panda eyes with this one. I'm not sure how it would work on bottom lashes though as I don't have any bottom lashes to apply mascara to.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Well done Kiplingmonkey on the £190, what will you spend it on?
Have some TA to report today and a uu
TA - nSPA float away bath soak, this was a 100ml size and I used half in the bath last night and it is really boring, no bubbles and no scent, it is just a water type liquid, so I chucked the other half.
TA - nSPA body hydrator, this is not old but smelt really weird, I added some lavender oil but the weird smell was still there. This was also a small size and I am not prepared to bother with it.
UU - Miss Cole Bed and Butter - used this on DS after his baths and it has finally gone - wnba.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

After nearly two and a half months of no spend I accidentally have some INs:
L'Oreal Elvive shampoo and conditioner
Herbal Essences Tousle me gently shampoo
They were all massively reduced in Wilkos bargain corner and I couldn't resist. I thought I was running low on shampoo but I'm actually not - and definitely not now! Though I don't think I have any conditioner so this is OK.
Also 2 UU to almost balance the spread sheet
Burt's Bees radiance shower gel - I really like this although it is a bit thin and watery. Although I like it lots it's really not worth the £10 price tag and because of this once I've used up the other 4 bottles in the stash I WBNA.
TBS almond nail and cuticle oil - this is really nice and moisturising and I love the smell WBA especially with one of the endless discount codes they have. Have dug a Burt's Bees lemon cuticle butter out the stash to replace this.0 -
4 UUs to report:
Trevor Sorbie beautiful burnette intense treatment
Product trial eye cream
Palm Olive citrus burst shower gel
Natural Collection eyeshades sea shell
Since I used the eyeshadow as a base colour most days and I don't have a similar shade in my stash, I've not opened my Lancome eyeshadow pallet. I used it the first time this morning... so far no smudging, creasing or fading!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0
