I know I saw this too on her website. The woman surely has lost touch with reality. Seriously, and this comes from someone who loves buying cosmetics as gifts who would want to spend £100.00 on a load of travel sizes.

How can Liz Earle justify the £100 price tag when the Lancome one was £70?!
  • I have managed to resist both the LE advent calendar (the price was outrageous!) and the LIB - agree with Evilsquid - wouldn't really want at least half of the things in it. Have also put £5 into my SPC in advance of the BM TSV on the Q tomorrow. Had an email saying I could order early but really wasn't tempted.... OMG  progress indeed....

Have a few UUs this week - have only managed to lurk this week as v busy but massive hugs to all in need - Rosemary, Trudij and Tokki plus anyone else I have missed.

    Here goes with the UUs:

OPI nv remover - nice but WMBA as I am sure there are cheaper removers out there. Have also got some to test out thanks to my lovely Summer Swap buddy.

Liz E skin repair normal 15ml - HG neck cream. Have more in stash to UU but will definately BA when I run out (especially now my local Bts stocks LE - luccky me, sadly no make up though as I went in to have a look the other day (but came out without spending anything))

Liz E hand repair - love this but it doesn't quite match up to my L'Occ HG shea butter hand cream.

Decleor instant de beaute - WNBA - this is Dec's version of Clarins beauty flash balm - I don't really have wild and crazy and/or sleepless nights now so don't really have a need for this type of product in my make up bag. V dull I know.... Can't say I looked any better (or worse) using this.

    Happy weekend everyone

    One UU today:

L'Occitane shea hand cream 30ml. This was the freebie from the FB giveaway. Really liked this, the only one that rivals my HG of Neutrogena but it's a lot more expensive...
  • Another day another UU:

Champneys Spa indulgence thai royale bubble heaven 50ml

I really love the smell of this, and am using the body butter atm. WIBA? Yes, but not in the travel size as it is a nightmare to get out of the little bottle.

I have been very good today. Found myself feeling down and upset and wanted to spend money to comfort myself. I went in to body shop, boots and superdrug. I bought new blades for my quattro shaver and cotton buds, both of which were planned purchases. I spent ages looking at makeup, beauty products, bath products, and didn't buy a thing. Breakthrough!

No more UU at the min but have a few splutterers/cut down tubes so hopefully some soon although its quite often difficult to tell how long they're going to hold out for!

It's amazing how long tubes go on for once you cut the end off them. I've a S&G scrub your nose in it and the end has been cut off for about 6-8 weeks now and I'm still using it daily :o and it's got a few more uses left in it!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

I have some GAs as I have just put together my first Give and Make Up box. I definitely recommend donating to anyone who has trouble decluttering as it's easier to let things go if you know they will help someone else out. All the items in it are unused :embarasse

7 shower gels (Avon, Sanex, M&S, Original Source)
    4 lip balms
6 eye pencils (Body Shop, Barry M, No7)
7 lip glosses/sticks (Lancome, No7, Avon, Eyeko, Ruby & Millie)
Ruby & Millie complete make-up kit
    Eyeko complete make-up kit
    No7 cleanser
    No7 moisturiser
    Nivea moisturiser
    M&S eyeshadow palette
    2 blushers (Rimmel and BeautyUK)
Bag of cotton wool balls (cotton wool is not mentioned on their items needed page, but I can't see that they wouldn't be able to use these)

I'm probably showing my stupid side but what is the give and make up box?

  • Finally moved in to my flat :j:j so me and him are having a few . Counted all my stash apart from nail varnish that I will do another day. So far I have 93 items. OH wouldn't let me include his stuff. Think he was too scared to admit he had quite a bit of OCD with shower gel :rotfl:
