It's important to know where the growth is. Who is building and growing? Well Tesco is always in the news for that and the other supermarkets want a piece of the local smaller store action as well as the hyper/supermarkets. They don't waste time either so once you see a building going up you know it'll be open (for smaller stores) within months. Ask the nearest same brand shop how to apply, it sounds a bit full on but ask that store's staff if there is anything you can do in the mean time to improve you chance, this plays to the supermarkets wanting to be community players. It sounds a bit full on but it's pretty awful conditions in the job market and these are the tactics used in higher level jobs: its just networking...0
