cant get a job so annoyed

had a job in greggs and another as a promoter and leaflet distributor, went for interview recently at sainsburys and didnt get that, was disappointed, where else is good to apply where they will train me?

i thought i would have done ok at the sainsburys test, i was in a room on my own for it..

im a media uni student

so annoyed dont get anything , not worked since last august

    i quit cos it was too physical for me, to lift heavy trays i couldnt do it, started to really hurt my back ,

    Well there are thousands of women who work in Greggs picking up these "heavy" trays so they must be within H & S guidelines.
    as a Meeja student perhaps you could get a job picking up televisions.

  • are you checking the high street stores and coffee shops - many are taking on (at least in our town) temp staff for Christmas. Also our local Royal Mail sorting office needs temp sorters for the same reason.

    You tried any of the retail parks/shopping centres nearby ?

    Try asda, tesco, morrisons.

    Do you have an inkling why you didn't get the job at siansbury's ?

    i felt quite confident but all i can think of was maybe i didnt score enough on the online assessment, will ring them tomorrow for feedback, wonder if can re-apply, can never see vacancies online at tesco for general assistant
