housenetwork - a review

Do you mean to tell us you picked an EA without a website? Surely not. Assuming your agent does have a site, which would people look at first? Your EA's or Housenetwork (or Rightmove)?
No the EA I am with is on Rightmove. If he sells my house it will cost me a few thousand pounds against a few hundred with Housenetwork. Is it worth the difference? Only a sale will tell!
If I had seen this thread before instucting the EA I would have been tempted to go with Housenetwork first.
It seems selling a house is an inexact science but if the majority look at houses via the web so it cannot be too much of a risk using internet sellers over EA's can it?0 -
Well we are still holding an offer - not accepted yet but the viewings seem to have stopped - I did wonder of that was on purpose by HN -??? I hope not
How could HN stop viewings? They are still advertising it on RM and their own site, that is all they can do!
We got very quick feedback from our first viewing - she loved it, he is looking for something he can't afford!! She is hoping to persuade him to have a 2nd viewing.0 -

It is early days for me, but I will keep you posted. We decided we had to gamble the £199 with HN, because if we didn't we would never know. We are looking at EA fees of around £7,000 as opposed to £800 - we will loose £200 if it doesn't sell with HN, but it seemed like a reasonable gamble based on those figures.0 -

Exactly my feelings. If I had only seen this thread before I signed up with an EA!
I suppose if you are in a hurry to sell you might want to cover all options but like you, I think a £200 gamble is well worth it.
Please keep us informed and good luck!0 -
We have just had our photos, plans and HIP done. The chap was very pleasant and professional. So we should be going live soon. Just got to work out how to mount the sign!0

Our house has gone live on the housenetwork site! We still have a few wording changes to make, but our account manager said they could be done after it had gone live. We are pretty pleased with how it has turned out.
Should be on Rightmove tomorrow, with any luck.0 -

We've got our 2nd viewing booked for this evening! Got a call from HN to arrange it, all very efficient I have to say - hope it's just as good when we're going through the sale!0

very excited - the people who came Saturday are coming back for a 2nd viewing, 1 hour after my other people!!
Hoping they will both be keen and I can create a bit of competition to get the price up!!0
