Cant find it, the website is a shambles....it was in "community" or "help" section but....

Click on "3G & 4G roll-out tab"
Don't worry if you haven't got 4G in your area.
Our 3G network is the biggest in the UK, covering 98% of the country.
So if you move out of a 4GEE area, the **chances** are you'll **trip** automatically on to the 3G network.

CHANCES, TRIP ?? Hardly reassuring for customers is it, besides looking completely unprofessional !
Whats wrong with "Don't worry if you haven't got 4G in your area.

So if you move out of a 4GEE area, you will automatically join the EE 3G network (where available)."
This new EE CEO Olaf must speak little/poor english, this launch is just has bad as Orange Broadband was and the removal of FREE broadband from customers tied into Orange mobile contracts, shocking really.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
As always, it's what you will use not what they offer that is important - so if you are making thousands of minutes of call a month plus thousands of text that this would appear to be a better deal but going off my last twelve months of data - I average 170 minutes a month, about 130 texts and 800mb (and slowly increasing) amounts of data.
The speed increase is too marginal of a benefit for me to give up a higher quantity of data.0 -

What a joke - the poor employees must be really embarrassed by their new boss - that's why they can't bring themselves to answer emails directed to them - that explains everything !!

So Orange even breach the official regulator enforced Complaints Code of Conduct ! EE is a mess & whoever is under EE CEO Olaf running T-M is doing a better job than him, he has very little interest in T-M, as ex Vice President of Orange's owner Franch Telecom his interests are in Orange, and he's made a shambles of everything in a year setting foot in the UK with Orange products & services.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Well i'm going to get 500MB data instead of 1GB and also have to start a 24 month contract again from scratch for the same price...... but on the other hand I should have MUCH better signal - something instead of nothing basically and as I don't use that much data, I think I'll be OK.Trying to remain free of unsecured debt and build up some savings.
Have done CeFA and CeMAP exams but no longer regulated.0 -
E=timberflake;56877349]I've signed up this morning to the £51 plan with 5gb of data.
You're always going to pay a premium for new tech, but I don't think the prices are that bad, they're only about £5 more expensive than the comparable 3g tarrifs on Orange.
Looking forward to 4g and being bale to tether my iPad to my iPhone.[/QUOTE]
At the moment until 4G is available UK wide from each network I fail to see why you would want to join up. The tariffs are expensive, hopefully we'll see a price war when O2 and the others roll it out.
As for speeds, I'm on Three and on average get great download speed and that is with unlimited data and I'm paying over £30 less!0 -
i have to say i like the idea of faster data on mobiles but i just cannot see the strategy of EE. Most of the tariffs have restricted data and are charged at an exorbitant rate. Like has been said above already what is the point paying a premium for unlimited minutes and texts if your a low end user who just wants the data. Just a shame that nokia has tied the lumia 920 to this network as i would have liked that phone.0

EE boast speeds 'up to 4x faster' but in reality their 4G speeds are around the 39M/bs download and 12M/bs upload. Granted their 3g service crawls along at 4M/bs, so this would be an upgrade for EE customers.
Me ?, I'm on '3' so enjoy 21M/bs even out in the sticks, and that's on a 3g network. Don't forget that as more and more customers move to EE's 4g plan, the available bandwidth will soon drop-off.Never Knowingly Understood.
