YaayyyyI caught up on the thread at last
catslovelycats i put my tapes on Freecycle - got a few takers - probably too late now, but you could try that
lamewolf - sorry to hear your in pain, hope you feel better soon - good luck with doggie - maybe something like this would do the trick http://www.dog-nappy.co.uk/
Dancemum like bossy said, its fine to refreeze meat once its gone through a cooking process.
Betty same here. I do find one room, if you stick to it, your place can look really good by the end of the week, gradually adding in bits of clutter along the way with each week. It has really helped me.
Pigpen, Coffeequeen & skintbreeder hope you feel better soon
Bossymoo ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))
Pixiefairy well done, hope your ds feels better soon
Julie that sounds a great meal - hope the dentist is as pain free as it can be !!
troll35 i know the brush you are talking about, i think ive seen it on qvc, or one of them, not into brushing anymore. I used to have a real dust problem, even though i swept everyday (it flies it up into the air) everything I touched seemed to send a cloud of dust into air I invested in a rechargable sweeper, i can highly recommend. I have a Gtech, but lidl do a version on their specials every so often and i no longer have the dust problem. Also use a floor steamer
Ionafan hope the new job goes well
Tesco are meant to be here between 1-2, so off to do fridge.0 -

Excellent choice of DVD Cycling Yorkie.
In my HH I cleaned the shower room including washing the floor, sorted out the pulses and dried fruit in a kitchen cupboard, found the salmon steaks in the freezer for tonight's dinner and put 300g chickpeas on to soak to make Nigella's hummus tomorrow (fabulous recipe). Alongside that I'm planning on baking Twink's HobNobs for the first time sticking to the actual recipe. I also decided not to stocktake the freezer, as I'm just not in the mood. Excellent HH!Better is good enough.0 -
Been to town, no success with clothes for DS2 so will need to go out again tomorrow.
Did get an advent candle and a top up food shop. Time for a cuppa then to see what DS3 wants to put up for Halloween. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi there. Back home, and back to work, after a very hectic, but enjoyable, long weekend in London. We met up with friends, had a great day at the Science Museum, and waved to Lamewolf on the way home! Well, the roadsign said MK, but we were probably 20 - 30 miles away!
Busy, busy here, still flying around walking neighbours dogs, and also did a big shop for sick friend today, but great excitement in the Tree house!! We collected a cat we had 'rescued' last night, took him to our vets, and he had a tooth op this morning, we collect him from the vet in an hour and he's then going to be our cat! He's 14 and has had a lot of trauma in his life, so we aim to give him peace and quiet, good food, and lots of love!!
I have hardly stopped fetching, carrying, working etc etc since Monday, so hope to be more relaxed the rest of the week. Pouring down here again, so will curl up once the puss is installed and chill a bit.
Many good wishes to everyone, especially those feeling poorly. Bossymoo, lots of good vibes coming to you from me, too, at this sad time. No one can really know how you feel, but I do hope the memories of your love for each other and the children, help you through these dark days. You be kind to yourself. X
Bonnie, I hope your salary comes through and that they haven't been b@@@@@ds because you were sick. I do hope today went well.
Kind thoughts all round, R x.0 -
PS. Been flying! Prepared room for new cat. Hoovered, cleaned bathroom and kitchen - just going to clean kitchen and conservatory floors - did big shop for us, all ironing up to date, so apart from work tomorrow, and more dog walks, I hope to have a quieter end to the week!0
