That's good. The kneading just makes them fluffier;) They don't need kneading as much as bread dough does.

In fact, I'm doing stew in the SC tomorrow (I have already prepped the veg) I think I'll thaw some dumplings and DS can chuck them in when he gets home. He is like a lath, he's so 'slim'. Goodness know why, I shovel calories in! :rotfl:

DD did some damage to her back - but the ibuprofen gel seems to be working...

Need to tidy the RoD and get the SC out ready for the morning.

  • Couldn't sleep this morning, so peeled veg for a roast gave kitchen a S&S, made a very earlier breakfast and took it back to bed and slept in til 11

DD2 had taken charge of DS as an apology for the hairdye incident, so it wasn't the end of the world until we had a powercut at noon.....after ringing the power networks they said they knew about the fault, so we went out for lunch.

Still no power when we returned.....so glad I had so many ornamental candles from Ike@ -left DS having a nice long nap in the hope he would stay down for the night.

Decided that in the candle lit gloom the only thing I could do was fire up the laptop and make an spreadsheet of all the DVD's in the house....mainly to see if any are missing and find out who they have been loaned to....and then if DS woke up, then I would use laptop to play emergency DVD to keep him occupied.

Well, I managed two cupboards out of 6, so it wasn't bad going.

But just not in the mood to get re-started now...so going to check in on the new list shortly and draw a line under this week.

Going to change the water on the potatoes and do roast for tomorrows dinner instead:D
The cold never bothered me anyway
