Morning all. Glad the little moos enjoyed the fireworks last night. We had two terrified dogs and one westie who kept going out for a look.

Today, once DD leaves for work in an hour, I am on my own again all day. Nothing particular planned, will see what I feel like, but need to do dailies as usual, walk dogs and get chicken in the slow cooker. Will probably catch up with washing too but will probably have to dry it indoors today as its very cold and frosty out.

    Catch you all later.

    Hellooooo

How is everyone? I've not been AWOL, more MIA :) ....and I'm calling in to report that as well as being free of cans waiting to be recycled - a la last Roundtuit post - my kitchen is now also free of plastic bottles which were waiting to be washed, squashed and recycled. :T I didn't count them - suffice to say that there were enough to fill the recycling bin.........twice :o.

I now have some kitchen worktop to S&S :T. notanewuser - you are not alone, but I'm living proof, or my kitchen is :D, that a little at a time does make a big difference eventually. I now have visible work surfaces :A

Just 24 glass jars/bottles to wash and put out for recycling next.....

WM is on. Think I'm getting a cold - feel very heavy headed and sneezy - so :coffee: next methinks.

Not read back beyond this page so hugs, spoons, sticks to all who need them - just help yourself.

    Morning all
Just collected DS2 from work (DH took him at 7:30)
DS1 at work in the pouring rain - he'll be misey when he gets home
DS3 another piece of homework complete - still one to go - too much half term homework for a 10 year old IMHO

Need to rummage for food for dinner, bake something and dust boys bedrooms. This afternoon I'll ebay list whilst the others watch the GP

    Hi Peeps

Have finally found my way back in after over a week as been suffering massively with an ear infection and deafness so to date have done absolutely zilch. Today is the first day I havent had to take take pain killers so I have printed off the whole list (thank you to juliejim and Dusty) to see what I can get done. I havent read back at all (yet) so big hugs to those in need and I will try and catch up later.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Hello all. Well dailies are all done. Littley dog is limping after walk, have washed paw, checked leg, look ok, but she's at the vet tomorrow anyway for booster so I'll get it looked at then if she's still limping.

About to have lunch (jkt spud with HM coleslaw if you're interested) and catch up on Corrie. Haven't decided what to do with the rest of the afternoon yet.

  • Good Afternoon :D

Not much done today yet. Kitchen has all been cleaned up (thanks to DH :T) He has also walked the dog in the rain.

I have done a little on my essay, had a bath & listed 5 items on ebay (not big item, but I need to start somewhere).

I am not a happy bunny as DD2 has just read out a post on FB that one of her friends has made the decision to leave school tomorrow & become a FT mum :( As I am her baby's childminder, it would have been nice to have been told!:mad: So I will have a FT vacancy soon and will be £140 a week poorer :( I have already been paid for November, and she needs to give a month's notice so I am keeping that!

Ok - I need to finish this essay (at least to the point of editing/reviewing)

My work here is done - Bossy - thank you!

    (saved me a job lol)

washing out on line. Work website logged into (I subtly disguised myself as the boss than I can edit any page I choose muhahahahahaha) and PTA event date corrected; blurb written. My friends are also coming to it - and they don't even have kids much less any connection with my school lol!
    I am a ruthless salesperson;)
I did check with the boss (after the event, admittedly, but hey) that it was ok.

    Washing hanging damply on line.

 Hello to all my flylady friends .. yes it's the elusive LL making an appearance :D

I haven't got a clue what is going on in 'flyland' haven't even lurked for weeks but I hope you are all well. I do float on FB so thought I would let those on the Christmas Card list know I exist :rotfl:

Not much happening in my world to update you with .. still taking one day at a time, spending more & more of my life at The Royal Marsden but they are fantastic & taking good care of me.

For those interested, yes Tristan is still very much in my life & Ian Diva's OH & I are very close .. can't believe how much time has elapsed since she left us :(

Sorry, I always crash the thread & talk about me but I know there are some who are not on FB so don't see/hear how I am .. especially LW hope you are doing ok :A

Love & hugs to all ... count your blessings xxxx
(((Gentle HUG))) How very lovely to "see" you; thanks, I'm plodding on, as one does - been up to my ears in doggies for a while, and I have my lovely mate Dylan snoozing in front of the sofa as I type.:D
All is quiet at yorkietowers - a very strange sensation - DD1 is working at the local charity shop, DD2 has gone straight from her sleepover to meet other mates in town..... and DS? Sleeping off a dreadful hangover and occasionally making dreadful noises in the bathroom......:mad::mad:.......

so I am HOOVERING ;););) and am shortly going to do some cooking - just to really annoy him......
I'd be making DS clean the bathroom later on, too......_pale_

We've caught up with all our weekend tasks; Mr LW is currently tackling the last of them, ie the ironing.;)

His 'puter has died, too, so he's having to be nice to me so that he can use my netbook to access his email.:D

The downside is he's talking about treating himself to a top-end gaming computer.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I'm in some ways in favour, as we're both keen gamers, but I'm not sure how many ££££ we're talking about. Oh well, I suppose if I look at it that I took a raincheck on having a birthday present, we didn't get as far as giving each other anniversary presents, and I haven't even thought about his birthday present yet (his birthday's in December)... and of course there's only us, we don't have offspring to have to worry about.... And we don't have a lot of other expensive hobbies or anything.... Can you tell, I'm trying to justify it.:D:D:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
