GWS vibes to all poorlies.

Had an unplanned lie-in this morning, followed by a bit of time with the DSs. Started tea (to cook slowly in oven) and took DS1 to work. On the way back DS2 and I called at work to drop stuff off and collect books to mark. Then we had drinks and cake at my favourite cafe followed by DS2's swimming lesson and finishing tea.

Since then I've played about on a website to see if I can make a bit of extra money from writing. We'll see...

I really don't know how I've managed to achieve so little today. Just like last night I started to feel under the weather again after tea, so I'll probably do a bit of marking until it's time to collect DS1 from work.

It's time for the big monthly shop tomorrow, but I'll need to be home before 2.30 for DS1 - also pumpkin carving, sorting out our few decorations and DS2's outfit. And I need to remember about tea...

I think I'd better get up first in the morning, so I can't lie in again. Need to clean the fridge and tidy freezer (inventory?) before shopping.

Spent time at hospital today having all my jaws pulled, poked and prodded....result not been able to eat since 1 o'c....tried inhaling scrambled egg for flybaby's sake, given myself a tummy ache in the process and cannot take anymore painkillers tonight, so I have been off list for the rest of the day

Came home to find DD3 had been cooking chocolate cake and destroyed kitchen in process. Stacked up mess for her to load DW and I relented and did the S&S round kitchen myself.

Have an old friend coming to visit on Friday, but have arranged for her to come after lunch so I can get some serious flying done in the morning to get rid of lurking DIY dust everywhere

DIY helper here again tomorrow and Thursday as progress was very slow today, no point washing plaster dust off venetian blinds every night, will do it Thursday instead.

Pipework for downstairs loo is being re-run underneath my bedroom floorboards tomorrow, so I have to move DS bed into DD1 room along with clothes for both of us for a few days.....as I will have no floorboards until the pipes are in and tested :eek::eek::eek:

So expect to chasing around DIY stores for unexpected supplies tomorrow to get job complete, and at some point have to get my flu jab aswell - will try and keep up with level 1 and take it from there.

Morning All

Well DD ended up with 2 friends sleeping last night, another 1 came after tea. DS is having his cousins sleep - possibly tonight!
Menu for last night was:
Starters
Apple and cheese thing - the girls
Prawn cocktail - DH & DS
Toast and pate - me
Main course
Spaghetti bolognaise - first time it'd been made from scratch
Pudding
Apple crumble & custard
I pretty much left them to it - just looked in on them a few times - I told them to use the pyrex dish for the crumble - when I looked in the oven they'd used the lid! So that didn't go very far!

Bossymoo - thinking of you - come and sort my house out if you like - that would keep you busy!

Dentist this afternoon for fillings for me and DS and then possibly going to pick my DNs up. Need to get up and make a start shortly but can't hoover yet as the girls are still in bed.

Morning everyone. No paid stuff today so didn't set alarm but still up around usual time.

Pixie, hope DS is better soon.

Today, I may or may not fly, but I want to sort out finances for the next month, do the dailies and am meeting up with friends this afternoon.
