  • I've failed with the list today but I have gutted the children's rooms. That's a very nice feeling indeed.

I've got the general tidy to do now and then I'm quitting.

Hopefully I'll keep up with you tomorrow.

    Well, what a day!!

Yesterday DD smashed a plate and dish. Today after quicly popping to the shop, DD was playing with the ice cube tray and smashed my last wine glass. However she washed, dried and put away the dishes before we made jelly for party tomorrow and put together a halloween cupcake stand.
I hadn't cleaned out the fridge so carefully balance the jelly on the marg tub. DD came down to look at the jelly while I was ironing and calls me to say something?? Goes into the kitchen to find DD standing by the fridge watching the jelly (that had tipped when she opened the door) drip onto the bottom of the fridge and onto the floor!!!

So, inbetween ironing, I cleaned the fridge and mopped the kitchen floor!!! All ironing (except what is in the WM + TD) is done. I need to go do something with the rest of the kitchen as it looks like a bomb with stuff for tomorrow everywhere. And we still need to do pumkins and decorate cakes, oh, and deflea DD!!!!

Right I have a basket upstairs that I can chuck party stuff in and tehn can wipe down everything...................

Hope everyone else has had a good day xx

I hope Pigpen and anyone else that is feeling icky receives the GWS vibes I'm sending, and Lamewolf's lodger's bladder remains in the 'Off' position while indoors. The dog at this end of the country has now stoped throwing up (after three days) and carpet scrubbing has now ceased. For the time being.

The plumber has been, drained down the central heating, fixed a radiator that hasn't worked for four years, decluttered two coffees and two teas, and taught me how to replace the sealant around the kitchen sink so I can do running repairs in the future. I heart my plumber.

Off to S&S the shower room, walk the dog and find a way to stop being irritated with a lodger who is trying my patience.
    Better is good enough.

Ooh fab! I'm done! Wasn't too bad when I got home, just a bit of washing up. Do need to empty DW though. Have decided to wfh tomorrow as feeling a bit rubbish, so I will do those then.

Tomorrow it will be a year exactly since Dr Doom gave us the news. I have been doing ok for a few weeks, but I'm feeling that shakiness in my chest again, and my whole body feels tense, I have to mentally remind myself to relax certain muscles. The anniversary is weighing down on me.

Time I found another distraction (where shall I paint next? :o)

Bossy, look after yourself and the little ones

Just the dailies again for me today. I know there are lots of hours left in the day, but I'm on my own, so I'm going to grab something to eat and watch what I want on the telly. I have a day off tomorrow so may or may not doing flying then.

If anyone was to come round, the joint looks ok anyway!
