I have had a very leisurely day today. Still not feeling 100% but hoping that if I get an early night tonight I might just be OK for doing a bit more tomorrow. I hate feeling under the weather. I have however took Sid to the park and been to Asda to get some shopping !!! I cant believe it. I actually only spent £11.82 and that was mainly because the boys are coming for their tea tomorrow and I needed to get some stuff in. We are having chilli and I needed to buy meat, in fact pretty much everything.
The rest of today has been spent pottering about. I have almost stripped my old milk churn of all its layers of old paint. Hopefully I will complete it tomorrow so it can go back in the garden. I have also just sat around in the sunshine reading my book. Hopefully I will wake up with some much needed energy in the morning.
Anyway I hope everyone has had a great moneysaving day x :)

Mrs Money Penny - Hi. Hope you are feeling better ! At least you are back at the gym. Nothing worse than being under the weather.
LeaLea89 - wow 4lb. Thats a great loss. It will keep you really motivated. Loosing weight has definitely changed my life. Now I am the size i want to be I want to wear nice clothes and have nice accessories to go with my outfits. Weight loss has made me try a lot harder with my appearance.......but hey its great to feel good about yourself. Just keep up the good work and you will soon be where you want to be. Regarding the sorting of clothes, well I found it hard work too. I decided to pull out five items a day from the wardrobe and make a decision about these five items. I think if i had emptied everything out of the wardrobe I would have been completely overwhelmed.

Well after the most horrendous night of feeling ill I managed to get to the doctors today and see someone. Lets just say I got a prescription and after one tablet I was feeling miles better. Still feeling yukky but a king to how I have felt.
Yesterday I took Sid to the park and walked to the out of town gym. I did 40 minutes on the running machine then paid a trip to tesco. I had a bit of a spend. I bought paracetomol and sweetners which were needed. Then I bought a nice everyday t-shirt for £6. I am amazed at the nice clothes there are in Tesco at the moment. I have bought some lovely items and for very little money. They certainly dont look like "cheap clothes" Actually there was an article in the Daily Mail yesterday comparing the clothes at Tesco to some designer names. Lets just say that Tesco came out very well !! I also found my favourite coffee on offer and bought 4 big jars of it. If I hadn't have been on foot I would have bought more !!
My sons were coming for their tea yesterday so I made a huge pan of chilli. They woofed it down. It was really nice to see them together. They are busy people and i just love seeing them.
Today I am just having a very quiet day. After a horrendous night of feeling ill, I now feel so much better after one tablet from my prescription. I am feeling confident of feeling better for the first time since Friday. Why do I choose a bank holiday to be ill !! Anyway I haven't done anything yet today. I might just take Sid to the park but i want to just relax and hope that tomorrow I feel a whole lot better.
I hope everyone is having a great moneysaving day x :)

Hi princesst84 - Thanks for dropping by. Almost back to normal but not quite. I think I am going to have to have a quick look in my local George and see if I fancy anything. I have seen one or two items in Sainsburys and think I might buy them soon !! Keep in touch x

Today is the first day in almost a week when I have felt anything like my normal self. I didnt get up too early this morning but when I did I had no choice but to take a certain someone to the park ! I decided that I would go to the gym and have a very leisurely work out which is what I did. Lets just say I only feel 90 % back to normal so any exercise was a bonus. My neighbour was fitting my new work top in my wash house (Sidneys bedroom) this afternoon so I decided to take her to my sons. We went to the local bargain bakery and i bough a few items for him and another of my sons. When I got home the work top was installed with my washer underneath it and Sidneys bed next to it. On top was my full sized tumble drier, my freezer and a huge 5 gallon drum of home made wine with tap. All I need to do is get a move on and paint the room. Might take a while for me to feel motivated to do that. I am more bothered about being 100% back to normal.
Getting my feet up is the plan for tonight. I hope everyone has had a great moneysaving day x :)

Hi Jazee - Thanks for dropping by. I would say I am 95% better. Cant wait to be back to fighting fit again. I hope all is well in your life x

The weather today in the North West has been lovely. I got up quite early after sleeping really well. I took Sid to the park then decided to walk to the out of town gym. It was nice just to walk in the sunshine. I did 40 minutes on the running machine then walked home.
After shower etc I decided to catch up on a few jobs. I loaded up the car with the offcuts of worktop leftover from the wash house job. I still need a very long thin piece of work surface (only about 30cm wide) to make another shelf for in my wash house but it doesnt matter if it takes me ages to find some as the main job is done. I took the offcuts to the tip. Then I delivered a birthday card and went browsing a local second hand furniture shop. I didn't see anything I wanted so NSD for me.
This afternoon has been spent in the garden. I completed stripping my milk churn which is now positioned in the garden with a plant pot in the top containing a fuscia. It looks great. The rest of the afternoon has been spent just chilling out, talking to my friend who visited and reading my latest book - Hunting Evil - Inside the Ipswich Serial murders. It has been a very interesting read despite its macabre topic. I have almost finished reading it so will be choosing another book soon. I am so glad I am getting through a few of the books on my book case as well as those from the library.
Off to get my feet up. I hope everyone has had a great moneysaving day x :)

Hello Sidneysmum, glad you're on the mend. All is well in Jazees joint, DH is back on the wagon today and I am cutting out sweets as the weight keeps piling on.

If you're looking for a new book and don't mind quirky fiction I can recommend The Humans by Matt Haig.

Hi Jazee - Thanks for the book recommendation. I will check it out at the library. Good luck cutting out the sweets !! That wouldn't be easy for me. I have a very sweet tooth.

Today has been OK so far. I didn't get up too early as I wanted to rest as much as I could before going to zumba. I went to the town centre gym / zumba class and had a nice old time. I just took the class nice and steady after a week of not doing classes. When I got home I gave her ladyship a quick trip to the park. This afternoon has been spent with my aunty at her nursing home. She is still a poorly lady but is a king to how she was 6 weeks ago.
I started reading a new book today - Spoilt by Terry Denby. Its started out OK so lets hope it carries on being good.
Not much to report really today. I have just had a quiet, cheap day. I am going to just get my feet up with my book tonight as I have got a few plans for tomorrow and I don't want to be too tired. Still catching up from being ill.
Anyway I hope everyone has had a great moneysaving day x :)
