Here to claim NSD number 15. However yesterday was a spend day as I had to do the weekly shop. Managed to get enough food for next 2 weeks at a combined spend of £31 so only £15.50 for me
next weeks shop should be really small so that's more money for my debt repayments pot!

Did a food shop today but due to a lot of batch cooking earlier in the month it only came to £12.90 - RESULT! I'm learning.
Also got an email about doing mystery shopping for £20. It involves going to computer shop and asking a series of Qs about a tablet. Managed to also list 16 items on ebay - including 3 empty perfume bottles and a freeview box, at last!
May not post tomorrow as going to see 'Silver Linings' with my free cinema tickets.
Kat j'adore broad beans but have never whizzed them up to make a dip. In the summer I boil them a little and then mix them with toasted pine nuts, mild lettuce and chopped spring onions. I make a dressing from lemon juice and oil then season with salt and pepper. It is delightful:o:o:o

Back from weekend away:)
Kat i went to Birmingham:) I'd never been before and must say, I loved the city, so beautiful! Went on a trip on the canal which was fab and I didn't know before hand but there was a German Christmas market on and it was fab.
Came back with £25 so that has gone in my secret stash:j
Back to it now and loads of washing! I have my envelopes at the ready for the start of the final part of the month. I will be going to the shops tomorrow for quite a few bits, mainly fresh, for the week. No petrol needed as have plenty in the car.
Perfecting next months budget now and hope to do just as we'll as I have done so far this month.....target - enough money saved to afford to book our christmas pantomime treat:) Cinderella this year at our local theatre!
So just to update.....NSD's 13, 14 & 15 for me:TNovember NSD's - 70 -
Now its hot chocolate time
Ooh p0lly, you've got me craving again! I've just finished dinner (tomato pasta with some 5p Whoops naan bread I had at the back of the freezer. It was delicious!!) so I think I'll have to make a mug of hot chocolate while I chill for the evening (no washing up liquid left so the dishes can wait til the morning :rotfl:). It was such a nice day today and the sunset was beautiful - does that mean another nice day tomorrow? Ooh, I hope so. I've got an action packed day tomorrow and I could do with it being a sunny one
NSD number 15 for me today, and day 1 of my 5 in a row, although the lack of washing up liquid may put a halt to that!
Birmingham's lovely JD. I used to think it was all grey and dull but the canals are gorgeous and the Christmas Market would have been lovely to see.0 -
Well Good Evening..
Check out all the NSD's come rolling in. This is superb!!!
I have spent the day baking..soup to use up leftover vegetables..more tomato sauce for make-shift pitta pizzas and pasta...red onion chutney for storage. Will be used with lots of cheese may I add... and that took about 2 hours..
Watched a couple of LoveFilm dvd's ( Cockney's Vs Zombies not worth the time )... Anyone know when we can cancel the free month in order to still get the TopCashBack money..?
Heard from a friend who used to deliver Graze Boxes.. he told me enough to not make me want to order them again - good!!
Sold another 2 items on eBay ( please see sig ) / Listed about 8 today though.. Should have found more but might locate a few "99p" starters which will be free to list during the week I think..
I am going to attempt for-going my usual Tuesday shop until Wednesday and even then it might just be for milk. I have to give £5 that day plus £20 for a pre-booked train ticket so might as well do it all in one day eh..? I have been paying eBay postage with my allotted NOvember money so am down to £80 exactly..
Howeve £92 in my paypal account awaiting transfer to my bike loan once it hit a nice rounded £100..( awaiting payment from other eBayer today which will hit the mark for me ) .. I was going to wait until £150 so you never know I might stay strong..:rotfl:
Short and sweet for now.. Gotta get my beaty sleep...
Onwards and Upwards...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Without wingeing, I have failed miserably, but I will seek inspiration from your posts.0

Chin up Rachel021967- I hope things aren't so bad for you...what is it Kat says... onwards and upwards
I'm reporting NSD15 - have done some baking today and started to look at insurance quotes through top cash back.. its looking better than I thought which is always a nice surprise.
Has anyone ordered the free veg box? Was thinking I may order this ready for the last week of NOvember as shopping next week will be very tight. Think i have around £16 left so will need to use it wisely- this also means the freezer stock is getting low and I may be in danger of having to eat the octopus dum dum dum- any receipe ideas anyone??.....
Thought I had everything in for this week (having had a spendy shopping day yesterday) but due to the baking (of a very nice crumble today) I have since run out of butter. So will have to get some tomorrow and waste a spend day AHHH.
However I think I may have a plan....Kat my fifth spend day of the month I was saving to go and see Breaking Dawn- I already have the money in purse waiting to go ... so my question is if I promise not to spend any more on that day can I count it as a NSD ... or is this just cheating at its best?? lol
To be fair either way I don't mind as ultimately this challenge has really made me consider what I spend (waste) my money on. I have kept to my budgets for outings etc and have even managed to save on some. With this in mind I would also love to 'attempt' a December challenge. I know I don't post often but I love catching up with everyone and seeing how we are all getting on. And knowing you are here in it too is definetely keeping me on the straight and narrow.... besides dodgy cinema bargining deals with Kat...lol
PS as a last note during my shift I did not buy chinese takeaway with everyone else- I ate my left over chilli and it was delish. I was very pleased with the saved money in purse.
Nite nite everyone - here's to week 3 of NOvember xxJan 2015- credit card debt £6970.63/ Loan - £7865
Total- £14835.63
debt free by christmas 2015 #116: £0/ £6970.630 -
Morning:)
Planned spend day today...
Made a decent start on meal plan for the next 12 days and have shopping list ready to go. Need to get out to the freezer (in shed) this morning and have a rummage around and see what I have left.
I have some eggs that need using up so will do eggy bread for ds3 for dinner tonight and maybe make some cakes too. Pudding will be the last of the jam crumblies and custard.
I ate so much at the weekend...I'm still not hungry
Hoping to keep it fairly low this week....only 12 days left of this challenge and I'm confident that I can keep everything within budget and maybe save some too:DNovember NSD's - 70
