Hello
I am so sorry that I haven't been able to get online to report in with my NOvember progress for a few days. Unfortunately the proverbial has hit the fan at work. I won't moan about it here because I'm just about to moan about it on my diary on here - suffice to say that I'm another teacher (who gets 13 weeks a year off), and I haven't gotten home before 6pm any night last week (one night was 8pm), and I've done 6 hours work last night and today.
Anyway, all work and no play is ok for the budget. After my emergency head lice treatment Tuesday night I haven't spent anything else at all, so I can declare today as nsd 8. We did need some shopping and spent £32.32 in Ald!, but my lovely hubby footed the bill so it doesn't count (think he can tell I'm really stressed because he doesn't offer to pay very often as I earn a lot more than he does). He even treated me to a bottle of wine which I didn't ask for as well. :T
I just hope the rest of the month flies by as quickly as the first third of it has - although with a little less stress would be nice. I'll be on here tomorrow to check in again but then it might well be next weekend before you see me again:(. But don't worry, just because I'm not posting doesn't mean I'm not remembering what I should be doing.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

A good day here:)
NSD number 8. Made twinks hobnobs which have gone down weel, packed some up for DS3's lunchbox for next week.
Used up some salmon from freezer and broccoli from fridge and made a small fish pie. Delicious. Will have the rest tomorrow night:)
Kids had mainly little bits from freezer and DD had dippy egg for tea.
Lunch was normal sandwiches, lovely ham with lettuce from bf from yesterday.
Have got some mince from freezer and its defrosting. Might use the slow cooker to cook shepherds pie for Monday and Tuesday nights dinner.
Wish my kids weren't as fussy but never mind. Purse remaining tightly shut until at least Tuesday xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Sorry I haven't updated since the start however I have being checking in with you all and am very impressed with how every one is doing and how inventive you are.
I've had two spend days since the start which have been for the food shop only- so have managed 8 NSD so far. Was meant to be going out tonight but am stopping in and saving the allocated money so thats all good.
Have found this challenge is making me think about how to balance money- for instance I needed some bits in a*da so have used up an old money voucher today (this was a refund from an over charge) and last weekend cashed in a scratchcard that had £2 on it which has been hanging around for ages in my purse so I could buy the paper for shopping vouchers
I've been wanting profiteroles for the past couple of days - had a look online and actually have the ingredients in my cupboard- so 'attempt 1' is in the oven now- wish me luck- this could go very wrong.
Keep up the good work every one and just say no xxJan 2015- credit card debt £6970.63/ Loan - £7865
