Evening everyone  how are you all? Everyone seems to be doing brilliantly! Ive discovered that, despite all work and no play making Siousxie a dull girl, it's good for the wallet, which in NOvember makes her happy :D

No movement on the bank account :D Still have my piles of cash :D and clocked up NSD number 8 today :D Got a few things with bids on ebay but there won't be much excitement on that front til Sunday evening!

Keep up the good work everyone...have a nice weekend!
  • Good Evening Everybody!!! NSD 8 for me!!! How are we all?

Well what a day!! I have been out and about as mentioned and had a splendid day! I shall be given a free crown by the dental students at Guys hospital - they need the practise and they are a little worried about my "delicate" tooth! Although I have to wait until January for this as they only work on Fridays...either way I have saved £500..:D

So having finished at the hospital I was famished - wondering how I would survive the entire day with only my mac&cheese.. then realised I hadn't used my O2 priority moments... ( as quoted on my own thread ).. I had a free peanutbutter bagel, free cup of tea and free bag of haribo. Healthy eh? I am home now and eating better but I made it through the day without spending anything!

I am super tired though. AND I have my jammy donut left so I shall be eating that in the next few moments then hitting the sack!!!

I realised the wondrous use of Quidco and earned myself 46p. I can tell your all impressed!

Well done to all on the NSD's...

I Will Win well done on your seriously freebie friendly day planned tomorrow..

GelMC well done on the website. I have no discernible skills to sell which is slightly annoying.. hope you get some interest soon!..

Debtaagh - 3 is better than none!! You have a lot of time left.. don't be sad... and don't equate your happiness with buying. This is easier said than done but do you have a park you can walk in.. I find plants therapeutic..( oh dear I am a bit sad )..

    His_Missus

thank you for sending on hugs....Jamiedodger on 7 NSD's we like this!!! WEll done YOU!

Wintersunseeker this is SUPERB money making.. £89 on eBay is excellent! Even more so on the jewellry! The bus is such a good idea.. your pass should defo mean this is a permanent change. Great to sit and people watch too.. but you have made a whopping great £309!!!

Ahhh my little chickadees I like that we are all looking after each other and encouraging those that are feeling a little down. Thats what its all about.. pulling together to fight the good fight and KILL ALL DEBT!!!

I finally have a few things selling on eBay this week. It all ends tomorrow so hopefully another 320 ( whoop de doo ) in my account...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Onwards and Upwards........I am off to bed!..:p

    Hellooooo...

Is great reading everyone's messages - the ups and the downs... and Deb... as Kat said - hang in their and focus on what you have done... 3 NSD's are better than 0 NSD's!!! We're all here for you if you need some extra motivating ok. Bad weeks happen so don't be too hard on yourself...

Wrestled with going out today but decided instead to use up left over vegetables and some frozen ones and make soup!!! It's so easy! Fry it off... bung into a pan with stock and simmer... Voila!!! Enough for 2 big meals!!! Was yummy!!!

That left me at NSD number 9 today - and managed to have a zero spend week... so just putting the £20 i pledged for this week into my Money Pot :-)

Probably going to have a spend day tomorrow as
running low on veg, and because am doing the Weekly Spend Challenge alongside this one... Saturday is a free day so it fits in nicely...

    Hoorah!!! See you all soon!

Abundant, wow well done on 9 days, I am seriously impressed, I bet you have eaten everything in sight now though.

I am declaring NSD 6 but i think I will need to do a little shop tomorrow, only bread and milk and some veg I think so hopefully not too expensive.
:) Been here for a long time and don't often post

again shattered .. i swear this next 2 months i barely have time to run to the loo :rotfl: ...

but im so proud of myself managed to plan 3 weeks worth of meals and extra for just under £63 so that bring my total to £78.08 (i think thats what i just updated to) .. i know it sounds daft to be this proud only 9 days in but trust me by now usually ive wasted so much money ... right time for quick catch up then bed as im going to my aunts tomorrow all budgeted for so all sorted so happy with myself :D x
    :)Still searching .....:)

    Morning everyone!!!

Ok - Looking at my wallet and am so dying to go and spend something... However... before I jump out to the supermarket am taking a moment...

Last week I was able to pay my £20 pledge off a debt and that felt good... and being resourceful and making stuff was quite enjoyable... so... with that in mind... Time to do a WEEK 1 STOCK TAKE!!! Am going to go through the fridge and cupboards and see if I have enough to make it through a bit longer... use up things that otherwise will forever lurk at the back of my cupboard... Anyone want to join in???

Am craving bread like you wouldn't believe (ran out 2 days ago ha ha!) BUT... lo and behold - I have 2.5 packs of rice cakes and a miniscule rye bread!!! My mission - should I choose to accept it - is to finish said rice cakes <gulp>

I have eggs (so can do scrambled eggs) and beans... I have 2 tins of tuna left and mayo... what else... <rummages> Tomato puree... gawd - what the hell can I do with that... Hmmm... I have lots of mini baby bel cheeses... Oregano in cupboard... Maybe I will try rice cake pizza microwaved so it's warm... This could all go horribly wrong lol!!! I have a box and a half of cup-a-soups (flavours I bought then thought bleurgh!!!)... potatoes... frozen veg...

NO!!! NO i say!!! I will NOT spend!!! Am going to use up those damn rice cakes if it kills me (which it very well may do!!!!) and when... and only when they are gone will I buy bread... think how AMAZING it will taste!!! Thick warm crusty bread <drools> and some homemade soup... YUUUUUMY!

I declare a war on spending!!!

I will make this NSD number 10!!!

    RARRRRRRGH!!!

p.s if anyone knows ANYTHING exciting to do with a rice cake let me know!!!

  • Ricecake little tomato puree spread on. Sliced babybel and maybe a tad of oregano plus or minus tuna. Bang under grill. Ricecake pizza! Good luck. They are nice with choc spread on too.x

I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning all.
Abundant, i love your determination! If you have flour, eggs, milk, herbs and cheese, you could make 'JJs herb cheese bread' from the grocery challenge. I make it a LOT as my kids really like it, and it keeps us going if the shop bought bread runs out :)

NSD8 today. I am planning on taking the kids out for a walk in the woods, as we havent been since before my son broke his ankle a few months ago. Now he is able to walk properly again, i want to get some fresh air, and its free :)

Am also going to be starting my blog this weekend, so i may post the link here at some point, if nobody minds?

Might do some baking too today, as i want to teach my 12 year old how to make bread and cheese straws. I am determined that he will be able to cook by the time he leaves home :)
