Anyone doing a T v A PP shop?
8x250mls irn bru were not showing on A.com yesterday but T somehow compares the sugarfree at 69p instead of the £2.69 showing on MSM (results just back)
I saw this on a womble from thursday with results back friday but wanted to test it for myself because it was not showing on A.com
Normal comes up as N/A so avoid that unless trying to get to £40 spend
Yesterdays pp results just back
Still 69pApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Feeling blue this morning two years ago we were robbed of my Dad by mesothelioma. Miss him so much,, and so annoyed that he hasnt been able to see my boys growing up. They thought he was great really fun loving. We are all going to my mums today for dinner with my brother and sister and families and sending lanterns up for Dad.
Why do the good go
Feel for you. I lost my mum before my dd was born and my dad when dd was only 3 months old. I get through by knowing that they are watching over etc. I often feel lost wishing I could ask their advice but know they are helping in other ways.
Hope this helps a bit.:)Smileand hopefully the world will smile back

Fairclaire - was it you who was looking to get your hubby games for xmas and looking for deals?
I've just received a clubcard booklet with mocs in...all entertainment for use instore only.... theres a 3for2 on Skylanders (not including starter packs or booster packs)....and voucher for bonus 500 points when you buy Call Of Duty Black Ops with another listed game...and another voucher for bonus 500 points when you buy 2 of any listed game...which are the same as the other list...so am thinking if you buy 3 games, you'll be able to use both...ie get 1000 points
have you recieved anything similar, as mine will have to go in the recycling bin
Thanks Looby. No I haven't had that mailing...yet. I got the winter warmers MOC for soups etc in the post yesterday. I always seem to get my mailings a day or two after everyone else.
That is a good deal! I now have a list of 7 games that I need to buy. I found a list of games that the kids want as well that I'd forgotten about. And I thought I'd finished my Xmas shopping:(
If I don't get that mailing in the next day or 2 I will be happy to help with your recycling;) Thanks for thinking of me:A0 -

Thanks for the quick replies
The idea is to get her something small when she passes, maybe a KA or similar.
Ideally you want something with a 1.1 litre engine or smaller to keep the insurance down.
What will she use the car for? My eldest has a ka and its fine for the 3 mile trip by and forth from work but its not a comfortable drive on longer trips or when she has passengers in the back. It also has very tiny boot, we couldn't get our case in the back of it, had to go on the back seat. So it's a commuting and tootling around car mainly which is fine as bf has his own and she has her train passes“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Hugs to you. Lost my Dad a year ago last Monday. Was watching a Three Tenors concert last night and cried for about 20 mins. Dad was Italian and sang most of the songs as well as they did. Have a nice lunch.0 -
Thanks
So I guess the realistic thing to do is budget for 30 lessons and get a car for her to practice in. I could let her practice in mine but only offroad (industrial estate for parking practice etc).
I would be way to stressy with her on the road as my car is modified turbo beastieThanks for the quick replies

I wouldn't suggest practicing on a turbo beast, it will confuse her.
Worth considering getting the KA now, so she can practice on it and be familiar with it before she drives alone. Also car insurance for girls will increase in December, so worth doing it sooner.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
