any way 4 years on and some amazing suport from my family and friends im happy again and have the best OH there is ,who treats me like a queen and is so respectful

i have found that my best way of dealing with things is to talk openly about them it real helps to hear your self say things and by telling close friends /family you can trust you dont feel so alown

soz for rambling but i just wanted to say you sound amazing person adn have you though about adoption/fostering?

A story with a bootiful ending- gives hope to all.

Hopepray I hope you have a wonderful time when you come to NI- people are great crack here and very welcoming to outsiders. We get very bad press I know but the generosity and kindness of the majority make up for this. You will never sit in a coffee shop alone- somebody will always start up a conversation.

NI is a super place to educate your children-I have lived in many places- including England and ROI and came back here to get my kids into good schools.

Men very rarely do the dirty on their wives here- it is just socially unacceptable in this community. Of course there are examples but it is just not everyday here.

Your son is very lucky to be married to a NI girl- we are as tough as old boot and will do anything to keep our families together:)

Is that by any chance a Desperate Stans? My OH did a lot of climbing in Wales for a long time and used to go to a cafe called Petes Eats in Llanberis. They did a massive breakfast called Desperate Stans and if you managed to eat it you got it for free. Reminded me of that.

Sort of caught up - as much as time allows today and wanted to send some hugs to peeps who need them. Saversue - well done you have made a brilliant step in the right direction, hope 3 dogs is doing ok, failure (hope you can soon change the id to something better) and anybody else who is struggling atm. ((hugs))

Morning all

Can I ask the parents of older kids a question please

Those of you that have put their kids through driving lessons. How many should I be expecting to have to pay for to get a 17 year old girl with zero driving experience through her test?

Taking her out in my own car is difficult as it is not your normal everyday car.

Thanks for any advice in advance :-)
