yes i agree to that, mine had 25 and was ready for her test but failed her theory twice by 1 point each time so no more lessons till she passes, then exams got in the way, but she will get there i know, best wishes to your daughter.0 -
i'm veggie so am restricted to just one of them. thought it was not bad but not that great. wouldn't pay £2.99 for it as per coupon but i suppose we can't complain at being given the opportunity to (repeatedly) test it out for free.
Morning Thick Tom please could you tell me where to get the ww watchers coupons from. sorry i have tried searching but have missed where they are coming from.
many thanks:)
Ps love your jokes0 -
Morning all
Can I ask the parents of older kids a question please
Those of you that have put their kids through driving lessons. How many should I be expecting to have to pay for to get a 17 year old girl with zero driving experience through her test?
Taking her out in my own car is difficult as it is not your normal everyday car.
Thanks for any advice in advance :-)
How long is a piece of string!!, my ds took ages, lost count of the lessons and about 7 attempts, a very nervous kid, but my dd took 10 lessons and passed first time, she had bought her car before her seventeenth birthday and had me out with her on her birthday driving straight away.:)The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

So I guess the realistic thing to do is budget for 30 lessons and get a car for her to practice in. I could let her practice in mine but only offroad (industrial estate for parking practice etc).
I would be way to stressy with her on the road as my car is modified turbo beastie0 -
Morning All When i read through this morning i though HC was back with all the birthday wishes, but alas no joy. Happy Birthdy HC if you are looking. Nice to see Fudgecake back.
Feeling blue this morning two years ago we were robbed of my Dad by mesothelioma. Miss him so much,, and so annoyed that he hasnt been able to see my boys growing up. They thought he was great really fun loving. We are all going to my mums today for dinner with my brother and sister and families and sending lanterns up for Dad.

Thanks for reply
I had 12 lessons & passed first time so I guess I am worried about expecting too much of her (she is my niece), and trying to budget for a realistic scenario.0 -
