  • Hopepray I hope you have a wonderful time when you come to NI- people are great crack here and very welcoming to outsiders. We get very bad press I know but the generosity and kindness of the majority make up for this. You will never sit in a coffee shop alone- somebody will always start up a conversation.

NI is a super place to educate your children-I have lived in many places- including England and ROI and came back here to get my kids into good schools.

Men very rarely do the dirty on their wives here- it is just socially unacceptable in this community. Of course there are examples but it is just not everyday here.

Your son is very lucky to be married to a NI girl- we are as tough as old boot and will do anything to keep our families together:)

That is the end of my party poliical broadcast:rotfl::rotfl:

can so agree to this - went to Belfast to get my daughters american visa (London embassy was closed cos of the olympics) Everyone was so friendly - even got bought drinks in the pub cos we were scottish and had not been to Ireland before - we had a great time and wished we had booked to stay longer - will definitely be back with the DH for a long weekend...............

    Thanks :)

So I guess the realistic thing to do is budget for 30 lessons and get a car for her to practice in. I could let her practice in mine but only offroad (industrial estate for parking practice etc).
I would be way to stressy with her on the road as my car is modified turbo beastie :)

Even "off road" if any public access then you must have insurance, as you said about your own car being probably uninsurable for her then a small car for herself would be best option.

  • Good Morning, and Happy Birthday to those who've celebrated this week - incl you HC!

Failure - soo feel for you, but believe life will get better. Like many people here, I spent far too many years wasting time with an excuse for a man, but you have to be strong. It's hard, but you can do it. Change your name today!! I am a real believer in positive talk - including how you talk to yourself! You are worth so much more.

Has anyone tried the Morrisons flagship stores taking competitors vouchers, I know someone said they weren't taking clubcard vouchers, but what about price porkies and APGs?

I can't see any comments about it.

    Thanks in advance.
    Ok
so went to cs on the way in yes we accept those points to big sign. Not a lot of info on there * terms and conditions, minimum spend etc but not on show.
Goes to pay and use less than a pound apg at ss.
First sa oh asks someone else she reads it through and says sorry we dont accept those .I explained had seen cs on way in, still no show definately dont take those and she will have a word with them. Ok not a problem will see them on way out off to cs as I approach the lad who I had spoke to promptly walks away :D.
So explained it to the other one who says I thought we did will have to ring manager, rings manager no not apgs for definate.Apologises and said they had been given the wrong info at cs desk.
All of them very friendly I might add no look of glee in their eyes :)
So will email head office and see what they have to say
