    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

Thank you Snap-ant for the lovely new thread
I must try and keep up with this one but I do tend to struggle as life always seems to get in the way

Love and (((hugs))) to those in need :A

Off to have a read and catch up :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Just brought over HC's sofa

As it is our new home i thought that i would get a nice new one along with a picture for the wall.

Hope you like it. Thought the old one had gone a bit tatty.

Happy will only be 'Happy' with his old sofa, sorry this one won't do

I went to B&M and they had McDougals SR flour 1kg for 39p :T:T T have a 1.5kg for £1 but it's on 3 for 2 so the B&M is a better bargain if you have one. In there, I also found ready to roll marzipan (Sugarcraft or silver spoon) for 40p!! I got so excited then saw the use by date was Oct 12. I'm making 8 Xmas cakes this year and only icing them in Dec. Do you reckon i could use that? I never go on dates for myself but I put it back as I didn't want to poison others....

I would use the marzipan myself... have you checked the dates on the flour as mine is also dated October 2012?

Ok had a rough morning. Managing staff is never easy but there are
limits even to what I can take. Onwards and upwards and be happy.

Went for some air at lunchtime and just happened to stumble into T's.
Just did a bits and pieces shop mainly so not expecting a return on
tpp. Following my receipt popped out a little bit of paper that my
shopping was cheaper in T's - no details other than a cheaper by figure.

I need to try and plan one where a tpp is due to see if it works the way it should.
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

Just a quick question, I purchased some orange matchmakers at ADSA today thinking they were £1 each as that is what they were marked as with the mint matchmakers and maltesers, but I paid £2 each for them.

I didn't notice until I did a price check so I got the difference back.

I know Mr T do a DTD if marked incorrectly, but does ADSA also do something similar?

yes they do but it's not advertised. Go to CS and get your £1 refund.. you should then be given a giftcard for £2 for each overcharge . Give them a nudge if they dont automatically offer it (or if you are a bit scaredy, tell them you rang A h/o and they told you the store should give you the £2 giftcard) :D
