First one was A. v T
Don't buy a pumpkin (£1.50 thinking it compare to T or be N/A). Cheeky A have compared it as £3 but T are selling them 2 for £3..
Don't buy S&G deos as they now show as N/A
Don't buy cheese hoping it may still compare as £1.
Don't buy 3 boxes of Dr Oetker ready to roll icing 1kg box at £3 each, hoping it will compare as £2.19 in T then on a 3 for 2 (i hoped for a £9 comparison against £4.38)
Do buy/peel off the labels on £1 bags of rocket - it gives you 50p off any Apetina 200g feta, currently at £1.38
Do get a few free cans of reloaded.
And finally, if you have a stroppy SA who scrutinises every single one of your coupons, doesn't want to put them through and is such a grumpy trout, feel free to tell him to "buck up his ideas because he chooses to be in a customer facing role."... If all that fails, go and report him to a manager for being such a poor representation of A staff  :rotfl:
I normally keep my head below the parapet but they way i was treated made my blood boil....
On an even funnier note, the SA thought i was asking for a job in CS so mumbled something about going onto a.com/jobs...., no buddy, I was trying to teach YOU about CS :rotfl::rotfl:
I love it

Afternoon All.....
Long long time since I've been here, been lurking from just before the start of the latest S. H. I. P thread.... Thanks COT. Over the last few days I've seen some of you write that you haven't been here in ages.... and it's been about a week.... Me, well it's been about 6 months!!!!
There has been so much happen in the time I have been away, and I know i've missed lots of glitches, but I have managed to squeeze one or 2 in in the last couple of weeks.... thanks to the OP's, I have cheeses for myself and family, 3 boxes of choccies from MrA the odd S&G, my store only had 3 then ran out  and enough softener and stain remover to last for a little while anyway.
I know lots has happened to many of you, both good and bad, i'd like to welcome to the world any new 'baby' MSE'ers. But i'd really like to say Sorry to 3Dogs for your sad loss this summer. I hope the dogs have started behaving better and the mouse problem is reducing.... Keep strong, you are doing a fine job XXX You have been so positive that your posts give me strength.
Last year ended and this one began with a fella that had come back into my life after 14 years, making all sorts of promises, and making me think I had finally in my 40's found happiness..... that was short lived, and he let me down and hurt me emotionally big time..... 6 months on and i'm still far from over it..... I know I need to move on, and keep thinking that maybe I should forget the usual perfume and use some extra Le' Nour before a mate drags me off to a local POF singles night disco.....
I think the last time I was here I had made comments on my Mum and the big dreaded C..... it only took the hospital just over a year of tests and various other 'wrong' treatments to finally diagnose. Anyway, to cut a very long story, she started treatment as an outpatient, got extremely poorly and immobile, so became an inpatient. She had been in for a week, was left overnight without cot sides up, fell out of bed and fractured her hip. Watching her over the next week it was like, well if you can get back from this mum, you can come back from anything!!!!!
Well she is home now, have no idea how she pulled herself through, but she did. :T I do my best as her career, but it's bloomin hard, coz she's always been so independent. Now she has to use 2 sticks or a frame at home, and a wheelchair when out. I managed to get a very MSE purchase of a Stenna stair lift from Ebay for £20 which we managed to fit ourselves, and with family contacts got it safety tested. The only problem with doing this was before the first Social Worker made a home visit to assess mums needs the SW read notes on the computer system which stated – ‘Family have arranged installation of a stair lift’, which meant SW came round with an initial thought of, ‘Well this family must be loaded’. She was put right on that fact!!!!
I don;t have too much to add, but I did want to try to find something that may be useful, so for those of you that have baby MSEer's, I don't know if it's been seen, and I don't have any results of these comparing, but I assume they will.

I thought the little tins look promising for a A's v T's shop.
Things are slowly getting easier so I hope to have more time to post.Tiger

Yes it was me.... that's her in my pic. She's doing fine thanks, if not a little chubby.I don't overfeed her, she gets one pouch in the evenings and a few biccies in the mornings, shes just pretty lazy and likes to 'loaf'. I've used that word quite a bit since I saw it posted the other day, it did make me :rotfl: when I looked at her with her legs tucked in, sitting there like a lump of bread! :rotfl:

eightieschick88 wrote: »Thanks for trying the icing Tiger - that was my intention later on tonight with flour and baking stuff in Sada. I was hoping it was going to compare too. Ah well looks like I'll have to stock up at Mr Ts then. I go through so much flour as bake almost every day, bread, muffins, cookies etc but also bake en masse for my sister's charity events too. Thinking I should really be making myself windmill out the back ..... :rotfl:
I went to B&M and they had McDougals SR flour 1kg for 39p :T:T T have a 1.5kg for £1 but it's on 3 for 2 so the B&M is a better bargain if you have one. In there, I also found ready to roll marzipan (Sugarcraft or silver spoon) for 40p!! I got so excited then saw the use by date was Oct 12. I'm making 8 Xmas cakes this year and only icing them in Dec. Do you reckon i could use that? I never go on dates for myself but I put it back as I didn't want to poison others....:eek:Tiger
