How strange that it wouldn't let me order 3...although thinking about it, the website was playing silly beggars as it kept saying my local store for collection was somewhere in Glasgow!! It refused to let me change it..
Anyway, I went instore and got 3 innotabs, the offer went through fine :-)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Hi again all,
I made another order on Friday around 3pm, within about 2 hours 5 items out of the 9 I'd ordered went out of stock on the website but I didn't receive an email telling me I wasn't going to receive any of my items. Thing is I haven't received a dispatch email yet and I ordered 3 days ago. I decided to phone up today and the lad I spoke to couldn't even see my order on the system, I gave him my order number, that didn't work, so he took my postcode and still he couldn't find it, nor with my email address. I had the Tesco website open in front of me with my order number, all items etc and it still said 'partially confirmed'. Anyway so he says that there is another department that can access a part of the system which he can't so puts me in hold, he comes back a few minutes later to tell me that this other department can see it on their system and they can't promise anything but nothing is showing as out of stock but they can't tell me if it's been dispatched or not and it's all dependant on whether the order was sent through to the warehouse before any of the items sold out.
Is it me or does this all seem a bit strange? Why can't they tell me anything? Has anybody else experienced anything similar?
I'm just a bit concerned as if some of it isn't going to come I would maybe make another small order but I can't afford to pay for both and seeing as though the offer ends tomorrow night then they'll be nothing I can do about it.
I can't complain too much as my first order all arrived and that saved me a fortune, I think I'm more stressed with the not knowing.
Any advice/opinions appreciated xxA silent (but still proud

I made an order online at 11.50pm last night and as of approx 1pm today there was no record of my order. Like you they checked order number, postcode and by email and nothing - even though I had the order page open in front of me.
The lady that I spoke to advised me to phone back tonight to see "if I was in the system yet" so I am just about to do that now.
Can't help you with the "man in the other department" though - sorry :O0 -
Well I have just got back from Tesco and I am so pleased to report that all 3 items were there including the pink Innotab. S thank you Tesco, suppose I was one of the lucky ones :TLBM - 3/12/11 :idea:

I phoned a spoke to a lovely man called Stuart. I get the impression that he has been inundated with people phoning to complain about missing items in the toy 3 for 2 :rotfl:
He found my order no problem and said he would get the item missing from my order sent to me asap as it was still in stock. No questions and no problems.:T
Whether I believe him or not is a different matter.....;)
Is your order for home delivery? What does your order status say? Has this changed in any way since your order was confirmed?
I don't know if it's maybe worthwhile phoning them again to see if your order has magically appeared??0 -

Thanks for that, I think I'm going to have to phone them again, it's stayed on 'partially confirmed' since Friday and when I click on 'order details' each item says confirmed...I'm still concerned though.

Oh dear, I've placed 2 orders with 9 items in total. Both my orders say 'awaiting dispatch' and 'confirmed' . This hasn't changed since the orders were placed. How can they have problems with all 9 items? Rapidly losing faith in Tesco.0

Okay, well I've just spoken to Tesco and the lad I spoke to was really nice, he managed to find my order on the system thankfully but it looks as though it's missing - there are 8 dispatch numbers on his system for that order so at first he thought they'd been dispatched seperately but when he clicked on the numbers to find out which items had been sent it wouldn't give any more info, he said that this means it seems it may have gone missing in the warehouse after being processed as once it left the warehouse it would give him more info.
So it's not looking too good for me receiving the items in the near future, though he did say it's possible that something has gone wrong and they're on the van but he seemed to think this unlikely. Anyhow, they're going to try and find the whereabouts and phone me tomorrow or Wednesday but he did say they would work something out so that I would receive everything eventually for the price I paid on Friday so presuming that promise is kept then I can't complain.
